I don't want my country's leaders to be decided by the pond scum of society. Most people, & I mean MOST are ignorant full stop. They watch these politicians on a commercial as if it were some Car Salesman. then decide to do what the neighbors did... buy a new car. Not even our politicians in office know economics. No idea about economics at all. . Economics keep a country alive ! It's totally irresponsible to have a opinion on economic subjects while remaining in a state of ignorance

A small minority of educated people with relatively sensible views on economics & an extremely tiny minority of economists with highly sensible views. Then there's everybody else. WA has a mysterious power to turn well-meaning humans into crooked gasbags! We should be long past applauding politicians of any party: they got us into this mess.The best deserve probation, a opportunity to prove themselves, the worst should be in jail ! If you don't have a basic grasp of how our gov works, " And The Majority Don't" you shouldn't be able to vote. Plain & simple.

I have come to believe, politicians are in the business of marketing their product to the public, by exaggerating threats & over-selling government solutions . The problem iisn't the money; it's the power !

With all due respect, Mr. Obama is not too young to be president at this time. His record of service is admirable to most.
For your information, the following presidents were just as young if not younger than Mr. Obama when they took office:
Ulysses Grant - age 46
Grover Cleveland - age 47
Theodore Roosevelt - age 42
John F. Kennedy - age 43
Bill Clinton - age 46

I'm always skeptical of politicians who've never held a real job in the real world, or of would-be presidents who've never proven themselves capable of being successful in business and decisive in critical situations. Obama has never managed a business in his life. Not even as much as a hot dog stand. He's never competently managed anything. His first tearm is ending & the glittering generalities of rhetoric & style mean nothing.. After facing huge challenges, domestic & foreign, his performance is where BO has nothing to show for his political career, either in Illinois or in WA
