Synchronize Blackberry Calendar and Contacts with Google

Thank you - I am not a very capable at IT so this tutorial was perfect

However, just one note to mention:

I am in the UK on a UK mobile phone network

The sync address link would not open - I just kept getting a gateway timed out message

Then I downloaded "google download app". After this I dialled in the sync address and it went through first time

I don't know if these two issues are related/unrelated - but just in case they are, I thought I'd share this information.

Anyone have any idea how to sync multiple Google calendars with the Blackberry calendar? I have two Google calendars, one for personal, and one for work. Each is on a separate Google email account. I'd like them to be synced with my Blackberry calendar so that they are each color coded with separate color. Has anyone successfully done this?

Question, If I have a contact created on gmail contact, and it has several more than 3 work number how will it tranfers to BB contact.

There are many blog posts and forum entries on these topics. The reasons could vary from corrupt database to BES server conflicts. Make sure you do backups of your BB before attempting any installs! Simply Google the following: Gmail login failed due to network problems and start reading. eventually you will find the solution

Some ideas:

1)I have seen similar error in the I-phone. Just say NO to the authentication stage. Then continue with the logging in process.

2)Under application and then the google sync permissions, restore defaults and it might clear the sync problem right away.

3) remove and reinstall the app again.
