@LeftyLadybug - I let my hair get to shoulder length (2 years of growth from being shaved, and I damaged my hair my removing the color in October. It started breaking off, so I cut it all off again on 12/22/2010. It's about an inch long. I'm regrowing with no chemicals whatsoever.

@nishalf04 - I use one layer of Vapon NO TAPE and 1-2 layers of Hair Direct White Adhesive. I purchased them from HairDirect online.

@pocahantasanderson - thanks for the kind words. @2:05, I was wearing the Pretty Girl Virgin Chinese Remy from thehairfairydotcom... but I don't think she's in business anymore. She has videos on youtube also. Do a search for 'the hair fairy'.

It was a semi stock wig. I didn't request anything special. Actually, I had to dye the roots darker because the roots were bleached blonde yellow. The flash of the camera masks that fact. Actually, I have only one wig left from that whole collection.

@pocahantasanderson Just dye the roots, they will match you skin tone and you cap better. i suggest going a half shade or shade lighter than the wig but only at the roots of the perimiter. thats how you the look you were speaking of at 2:05 i dye all the gigs i get for my clients around the edges for that exact look.

@xXRetardKoolaidXx - practice, practice, practice, patience, perseverence, embarassment... It took a year of putting them on for me to get to that level. The most important is patience. If you rush, it looks horrible.

@elyavt - No. I cut my hair because is was damaged when I began to wear lace wigs, and I wanted to grow out my hair in its curly state. Lace wigs have never thinned my hair out.

@elyavt - No. Me cutting my hair had nothing to do with lace wigs. The lace did not and has not thinned my hair. I cut my hair because it was damaged before I really started wearing lace wigs. The lace wigs have helped my hair to grow. I remove my wigs slowly and carefully.

I just got my new virgin full lace malaysian wavy 22' natural 1B color from Rex the chinese vendor. I brought my wig after watching this video, user:NelaP1 and jamesgirl37 user: video.PROBLEMS:

*I had some grey hairs in the front.

*When i ran my hand thru it hair was coming out as soon as i took it out package.

*It also looks plastic like.

I never got malaysian hair does it look plastic like? Did you have the same problems or any?

@Ella11238 - to answer your questions, I either leave the grey hairs in for realism or yank 'em out; I expect for some hair to shed, as I understand that that the hairs are hand tied and the knots may unravel; the plastic look may come from the silicon treatment used on the hair before bagging it up. That will wear off over time. If you're unhappy with the wig, don't cut the lace and send it back.

It seems the Indian loose curly is a little curlier than the virgin malaysian loose curly. The malaysian loose curly seems to be more wavy or did u make it that way(just curious) Im trying to decide which one to get, what would suggest? thanx:)

@funandflirty4 - the malaysian curly held up better, and was more sturdier. I don't normally wear indian hair. I don't know why I got that indian loose curly. To make the curls pop more, you're supposed to dry the hair with the hair bunched around the base of the wighead. I used to just hang them on my wigheads, and the hair used to hang down, and it stretched the curls out. I would suggest the virgin malaysian loose curly.

@thicknpretty100 - I use Walker No Shine tape from temples to side burns, Supertape in my part (no more napes), then Vapon NOTAPE on top of tape, then Hair Direct White Adhesive on top of the NOTAPE. I get a week + hold.

the vendor at 2:02 is The Hair Fairy (the pretty girl unit). Other than that unit, I bleached the knots on a couple of units. I don't do that anymore - it leads to shedding.

Some of them look good and some of them look horrible. Alot of people get lace front wigs and try to get a hair texture that just doesn't fit them just because they want long luxurious hair...and thats makes it look soooo fake. All those curly textures and long silky textures dont look right on everyone, and im not sayin that cus ur darkskinned cus I know darkskinned women with long pretty hair but some of those wigs dont fit you, but some do, nice apps.
