2. You have my dream set up right there, a sienna sunburst with maple through a hot rod deluxe. I made the mistake when I bought my 1st serious cash guitar of buying something that I now regret... can't really play blues with a straight face on a ridiculously pointy metal guitar & Line6.
3. You evidentally like to listen to similar things that actually made me fall back in love with guitar playing. Stevie Ray - legend & John Mayer - maybe cocky but he can PLAY!
@MichaelLozano12 hey man, i don't really use the tremolo much so wouldn't be able to give you much of an idea as to whether it affects the tuning a lot. in terms of the bridge pickup i find it a bit thin for stuff like Van Halen, thats why i actually sold this fender strat and got a Clapton strat. it has gold lace sensor pickups and in my humble opinion that sounds better than this guy did. BUT the American standard still kicks ass!!
@bhennyjmu playing a fender hot rod deluxe here- bass all the way up, treble on 7 mids on 6, bright switch on, presence up all the way. hope that helps
this is an excellent video my friend. laid back, just playing random stuff plus a brilliant tone, keep it up mate :) Would be great if you did another one with this setup, but like 10 mins, so i could roll a joint. ;D just kiddin.
holy crap i want a fender american strat so badly, i live in mexico and here second hand guitars are almost as expensive as a new one there on the united states, by the way are those the stock pickups? because i was wondering if they sound right
Great sound and style! Awesome clean Fender Amp! Wonderful Strat-Guitar and Tone! And there is a hot SRV sequence too ... I own same equipment ... and I like it as you do, because it has a true unique sound and playing comfort! Move on doing the good work! Cheers from Austria!
@Malteboy777 hey man, i bought this one out the box (only time i have ever done that). its the a great guitar!! sounds absolutely amazing and plays like a dream!! if you find one- get it!
That's about the Dkk. 10.000 Fender I've look'd at ! =D
Might actually get it! ;D haha.. Just think I'll get the electric drumset I had a look at today aswell as The Marshall Haze 15 first! =) They are the least expensive, so the fender might drop a bit in price over time? =P
Btw. I have a crusial quesition! Is it possible to pull the whammybar away form the pickups? Cause I recently heard that it's a no-go because of the body..!? =/
im not sure about the mexican ones, never really played them much. i know the USA Strats are just great and the Jap strats are awesome too! that clean tone on a strat is hard to beat!
i used to have a mexican strat, now i have an american deluxe... it's definitely a major improvement. the neck feels amazing, the tone is better, and i believe there were only 21 frets on the mexi. also, the locking tuners on the USA are great since they keep it in tune very well (even w/ major whammy bar use) and also make changing strings a lot easier. ive definitely fallen in love with my strat- it looks, feels, and sounds amazing. but fender jacked up the prices so its a tough decision now
definitely go for the mex ones if your dont have much money on your hands. i have a mex and an american and i prefer the mex over the american many times
iv never actually played on the deville so cant give you an answer from experience but as far as i have heard its supposed to sound the same, just has two speakers instead of 1. hope this helps!
amp settings?
and also what fx pedals are you using sounds great!

monkeyman2578 1 year ago
Do you use the tremolo very heavely? If so, how is it at staying in tune.
Also, is the bridge pickup there hot enough to do some van halen stuff, those are my only concerns.
Thank you

The bridge is equal to her American Deluxe? You changed? American Standard does not have this bridge.
