THAT FUCKIN GUITAR HAS PLENTY OF ELBOW ROOM! im looking at how your playing and it seems like the neck is floating so you could pick notes out of the air! if only there was a left handed version 8(
Nice dude very nice! My Cousin hand builds em' too! He kinda like the curly maple wood! I Like this one! Ya autta tape off the light blond section & stain the dark wood Black Walnut lightly then Clear coat! Would be Freekin' awesome! I'd Pay 5 or 6 bills for it!! Know ya got more in her though! Nice Job man!!
this is insane could you take a look at my two vids cuz iv never made a guitar before and need your help like for example iv got a 24 fret neck but dont know were to but the brige for the right tone CAN YOU HELP ME?????????
nice setup man, and great job with the guitar! I strongly recomend a different neck pickup though, maybe a paf pro, or a breed, those would go nicely with the bridge.
i never got to see the headstock, did you make the neck yourself or get it from Carvin? just curious, i'm having a Carvin neck made right now for my project... your guitar turned out sweet by the way!
well, i'm using an original design, similar to an Ibanez SR506 bass body, but more cut out and there should be no problems accessing all 24 frets... i'm also going to do some simple carving of the top and i'm going to keep the sides as round and contoured as i can. still haven't decided on the headstock yet, might leave the carvin design or mod it to look like an Ibanez. mahogany sides and q-tuners for pickups. i hope to have it finished by july, and i'll try and get a video put up when its done
hehehe And we have à totally worn out guitar cause of all the years on abuse... It,s so hot.. can't understand you hehe, your not shining your car haha
Fantastic looking guitar and great playing! Did you cut the wood pieces out yourself , and where did you get the material for the guitar? I've always wanted to make a Neck Thru guitar myself. Thanks for sharing.
Can you please send me a how to make?

very reminiscent of Oli Herbert's model. Pretty sure his actually IS a Xiphos though, but the finish is the same.

how much did it cost to build? (in dollars)
m3talMartyR 2 years ago
you can make one for pretty cheap if you know how to wood work, then most yourmoney goes into electronics
KreatorOfDeath1985 2 years ago
that is bad ass that you made that. and you you play very well. awesome video

how many pieces of wood did you use for the body? like did you have to glue an extra piece of wood to it to make the long point by your right elbow?
GuitarMonkey5180 2 years ago
@GuitarMonkey5180 it is made of 2 pieces of wood. but the long piece is not extra glued
scarrigormortis 2 years ago

jacksonwarrior57 2 years ago

Why would you double D activators??
Get a breed in there,
PS i hope your better at playing by now that was really bad D:!!
KreatorOfDeath1985 2 years ago
@KreatorOfDeath1985 i was inspired by the ibanez xiphos and they used d activators, but i think i change them^^
scarrigormortis 2 years ago
D activators for the bridge not the neck man!!!
Get a Breed or a Evolution for the neck!!
KreatorOfDeath1985 2 years ago
I agree, D-activator on the neck lack so much clarity
LTDusersince99 2 years ago
@scarrigormortis Put a Evo or something in the neck and it will be awsum.

Very nice at 2.40, the first part could be clearer, however nice job and very nice guitar. (i would only have chosen other pickups).

Yeah I know how you feel. I sanded down an ESP of mine and had a minor scratch, barely even noticeable, and I couldn't stand to play it anymore.
