Wow I am glad you made this video. I have been thinking about doing a video series on my blog on my christian thought. I've really been watching and observing the comments you receive on your videos. Everything from your cute to I hate you. I am glad you still make videos and share your views despite the facts. As your brother in Christ I would encourage you to continue to do all things in love. We may not always agree but Christs character of humility and gentleness must shine in us. God bless
I can see your honest heart in wanting to proclaim truth but we have to understand that the only truth that we need is directly in the Word. You mentioned philipians but we cannot compare that to the gay agenda, Paul was not referring to that and also the Word states that we are not to add to or replace anything in His word (Prov 30:5-6)
Okay first and foremost i have to ask!!! HOW old are you !? because you appear young? but anyways thats not really of importance but omg girl You are so on point with all that you said ! Continue to let God uSE YOU because you are good at what you do!! ;)
A graceful yet firm as well as a well thought out and informed discussion on the subject. Props. Folks will get offended regardless on this matter...but better they be offended by the truth than the presentation of said truth. Reflects on the Lord and compromises the integrity of our witness. I wish I could same for most of the vids on here by slew of arm chair theologians. Grace and Peace.
I absolutely agree with you. A lot of christians see being gay as the ultimate sin and making the person into like a demon or a monster. There are people in this world that have murdered people one by one, and they can get married. The bible says the a liar is worst than a murderer, and i know a lot of christian that lie, i even have lied. Its part of our nature which me must overcome. It's not fair to take our least favorite non-godly characterstics and take away freedoms from people
can someone please explain what "accepting the gay lifestyle" means? who said that acceptance is the "gay agenda" as if there was one to begin with? your video, i think, preaches everything you claim to be against in regards to opposition - "we have to handle this more intelligently than calling names and stereotyping people."
I guess the only relevant question at the moment is.....do you believe homosexuality is a sin?
Furthermore, did you read the scriptures that I cited in the video? If not, this will also help in your understanding. I'm not against civil debate or disagreement, but all of the points that people have brought up thus far were already covered in the video. This isn't one of those videos that you can halfway pay attention to, but i understand people have to multitask sometimes. Therefore, REFER TO THESE 2 COMMENTS FOR FURTHER CLARIFICATION. Thanks for watching & God bless!
Did anyone watch the whole video? I didn't say pretend like gay people don't exist or accept their lifestyle. The main points of the video are: 1) It's a spiritual matter that we should deal w/ by guidance of the Holy Spirit, not homophobia or government. 2) All persecution does is further along a cause or movement; and we know this to be true, because this is how the early church got it's start. Therefore, we have to handle this more intelligently than calling names and stereotyping people.
@abht01 God gave us free will for a reason. Saying homosexuals can't be married is taking away their free will. Plenty of people do other bad things such as fornication and cursing. Should we make them illegal too? America is based on the premise that everyone has free will and can do what they want (I'm assuming your from America). Also let's say there is a believer who is struggling with homosexuality, we just introduce additional sin be not permitting them to be married (fornication).
@abht01 How do I have my facts wrong? It is their decision to be gay and by making gay marriage illegal you would be limiting their decision, thus making it YOUR decision when it shouldn't be. Where am I getting my facts wrong?
@abht01 (cont'd) Obviously that person should make the decision to NOT participated in homosexuality...but who are we to judge and say that they CANNOT get married?
I agree. I don't think that we should tell non Christians what to do (Unless it harms someone else of course) . If you're not a Christian, you're not obligated to follow the bible. You can't force ppl to be Christian or to adhere to biblical guidelines.
I believe she is saying to legalize gay marriage would or coud take the focus off of the issue in general and allow the individual address it spirtually. My perspective...

@abht01 Let's take it back to the bible:
17 "But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and
worship other gods and serve them, 18 "I announce to you today that
you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong days in the land
which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. 19 "I call
heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, I have set
before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose
life, that both you and your descendants may live.

So obviously it would be the wrong decision to marry homosexually, but the bible commands us to make our own decisions based on it's warnings.
The additional sin you would introduce is fornication. If they aren't permitted to marry, it would be hard to keep sex "inside of marriage"

@abht01 EXACTLY! It is THEIR decision. Gay marriage is wrong but it is THEIR decision!

@abht01 By making gay marriage illegal, you are making it YOUR decision.
That's just the way I see it though. We can just agree to disagree. Glad to have you as a brother/sister in Christ!

So we should overlook all the scriptures in the bible and accept gay life style
