@kNIGHTWING01 The movie is also based on No Man's Land and The Dark Knight Returns. That works perfectly, because after Bane breaks Batman he isn't in the costume for around 10 years, just like in TDKR expect he doesn't retire. No Man's Land is when the massive earthquake hits Gotham, which looks like Bane will orchestrate.

Well the series is over for awhile, until the Wii U release. I could go into more episodes of Arkham City, but i need to be done with this game for the time being as well. Lot of 3DS stuff and Reviews coming out, that Id like to work on atm. But thanks for wanting to see more Batman A.City vids, I will keep that in mind for later this year =)

You just gained a subsciber dude. I totally agree with you about the movie. you absolutely cannot have a Batman movie where Bruce Wayne dies. It defeats the whole purpose. Nolan has also said that Dick Gracin will not be in the trilogy, so no Robin or Nightwing to take his place. which would only make sense if there were more movies anyway. And yes, Nightwing does indeed kick ass. :)

i think they should have dick grayson as nightwing and have him at where bruces parents died and then bruce jumps then damien wayne trys to save him but fails and injures nightwing forever and he cant fight crime and batman is injured and then oracle asks her dad if she can be batwomen and have alfred as the new oracle and have the batcomputer think of a robot for alfred or another butler and then barbra gordon figures out how to heal batman then saves him and he becomes batman wothout needing

i hope in TDKR, they return "you either die as a hero or you see yourself become the villan" maybe batman doesn't have to become the villain but maybe batman should die, but it doesn't mean there needs to be a replacement, say batman makes a sacrifice while doing so it effects bane.

Wow, really glad I watched this. I'm not a fan of the new batwing either. I do like that they have the Batmobile, T-Rex, and Bat computer in the cave, but that's all they have. No giant penny, no joker related items, no wall of bat suits/robin suits/batgirl suits UGH. Also, I didn't know the batcave would only be a predator challenge map. I already have the penguin map form the collector's edition. I thought the joker map looked okay. Idk, I might wait to get this cheaper later on.

that Joseph Gordon-Levitt person will be Azrael (the 1st azrael Jean-Paul Valley). jean-paul was a policeman in gotham but was experimented on in switzerland and met bruce wayne there, he found out bruces secret and ever since then bruce trained jean-paul to be a new batman if such an occaision happend (which it does obv) but when bruce loses to bane, jean-paul becomes the new batman then he goes crazy and kills people. bruce comes back then beets him. AZRAEL IS BEFORE DICK GRAYSON

I just feel if I payed for those challenge maps, I should have them unlocked right away. In a way, I don't even know if the game recognizes that I've downloaded those maps.

I just downloaded the Arkham Bundle which contained the Robin, Nightwing, and Batman Skins Bundle DLC. They all worked and I was able to participate in the Black Mask Challenge Maps (both the train and the factory) and the Wayne Maps (Armory and Manor).

why would Grayson & Drake need those? They didn't die in the line of duty only Jason did. it just shows the Batcave was just thrown together, its cool and all. But for fans, they could have put more goodies in there. But this game does take place several yrs after Todd's death. A good indication is Bruce didn't treat the third Robin very well, until after Jason came back from the dead.

@kNIGHTWING01 Also its not the batcave that Bane and the league are propelling down, its the prison, or wherever Bruce was in Hiatus for 8 years at. My theory is that Bruce was gone for however many years, then Bane comes, finds him and gives him a hint, "RISE" then Bruce is forced to return to Gotham.

I think your TDKR plot theories are OTT. Bane will break Batman in one way or another, and the characters of John Blake and Nixon will take over from Batman and Gordon but not in any theatrical way like anyone else putting on the Batsuit. It's basically a story about passing on the torch and it's always been Bruce Waynes intention that Batman needn't exist if he isn't needed.

When you fight Bane, who constantly taunts about breaking you, even imitating the action of breaking his back on his knee and like you said, one of his game over screens Bane will say "Once again Batman, I have broke you". So yeah, I'm 100% sure it's after Knightfall.

@Arsio12 Yeah its pretty much a given that the Arkham universe takes place after The Death in a Family,The Killing Joke, Robin III, Knightfall, Prodigal & Cataclysm. So Arkham City takes place during DC's 1999 to 2003 Batman story arcs though its re done & Kills off Joker. So No Mans land is Arkham City and ends with Bruce Wayne wanted for the murders by Hush. Im pretty sure the next game will deal with Bruce Wayne: Fugitive, Hush, Under the Red Hood & maybe War Games with Black Mask.

@kNIGHTWING01 That would be sweet. Especially since I (for reasons I'm not sure about) really like Red Hood :P I didn't like Jason as Robin, but was strangely intrigued with him as the Hood. I would love a third Batman game, but I hope they drop the "Arkham" name from it. If they expand it for gameplay purposes (like Arkham World or something), it'll get ridiculous. They should add the Batmobile and Batman's other vehicles if they make another game.

The Dark Knight Rises looks to be loosely based off of Knightfall, No Man's Land, and The Dark Knight Returns. And Nolan confirmed that its been 8 years without Batman. John Blake or no one takes up the mantle within those 8 years.
