There are not supposed to be horses on the freeway either and if you had experience driving cars you'd know the headlights usually light up the right hand side of the road the most.

Why dose the stupid cop not park the van in front of the horses then divert the traffic away from the horses instead of parking on the opposite side to the horse and signalling people to move closer to the horses. What did they expect to happen? Stupid cops! People where distracted by the cop waving the torch about instead of looking were they where going. Do you even drive yourself? I've hit some deer in the dark and I can assure you I didn't see them until they were right in front of me. Also, did it occur to you the driver may have watched that policeman on the side of the road and been distracted. Not very wise to ignore a policeman. There are not supposed to be horses on the freeway either and if you had experience driving cars you'd know the headlights usually light up the right hand side of the road the most.
