Very proud that Britain can still produce a world leader of a product! Every family should own one of these to remind them of the days when quality was paramount!.
Cost is always an issue and outside low labour cost countries, hand made products are always going to be exspensive, but you are getting a quality product and the benefit of a lot of worldly expertise going into the design.
The CC-ST has had plenty of testing here in Canada. Check out the Canadian Bushcraft website for a detailed review of this blade. I am proud to know a Canadian company is finally selling these blades. The one on my belt (the first to arrive in North America) has been my trusted companion for well over a year now.
@OzaawaaMigiziNini Yeah, I saw your review. You guys need to put more videos out, I am a subscriber to Canadian Bushcraft -- love the vids, just wish there were more of them!
@hilldm I agree, and we have a lot planned for over the summer and fall. Sadly our focus is not as much on making videos as other youtubers, due to our time already filled with courses and other schedules. However, our future videos will be in my opinion some of our best. And of course, you'll see the Chris Caine Survival Tool a whole lot more in them!
My friend Doug bought me one of the rosewood ones -- can't wait to run it through its paces! Thanks Paul -- I'm still sad you can't find any well-made CadPat tarps, but this beautiful knife will help me get over it. :)

I can indeed vouch for the unbelievable quality of this tool including the leather sheath!!!
I own # 104 Special edition with Rose wood scales ,
It should be in a glass case and not in the wilds, but make sure if you buy one you use it
Holds edge well
Nicely weighted
Does the job
Even though this tool is "all you need"
I still don't leave the house without a small mora clipper

Can't beat good Sheffield steel. I've had hands on with the rosewood version, and it's a beaut. This is definitely on my wish list, that's for sure.
