i must have done this all wrong! it was the worst de-potting experience ever! it completely melted the casing before the product! im so frustrated right now. it was my first NYX jumbo pencil and its totaled. i really want to cry. i followed everything you said too. *sniffle*

Thank you so much for this video!! I recently got a few of the NYX Jumbo Lip Pencils at Ulta because they were on sale and I'd been wanting to try them out... I, as you had mentioned, assumed they would twist up just by looking at the packaging. That (obviously) didn't work and they seemed too messy to sharpen. I will definitely try the freezer trick!

Hi Dezi...you can also peel the name from the jumbo pencil then with some clear tape tape to bottom of jar,thats how I did a few of mines.Alota

the freezer tip is great! never would have thought of that :) i did a depotting video on these awhile back and showed how you can do it using the plastic lid from a to-go drink cup. easy easy easy!! check it out if you'd like :) thanks for the vid!!!

This may sound dumb, but once you have depotting the pencil, how are you using it... or what type of brush should you use... just wondering..Thanks!

Honey...I just took off the metal portion off the end of the Jumbo stick and put the pencil in a plastic container such as the ones you use to put pigment and such. Then I stuck the tip of the jumbo directly onto plastic container so that it would not tip over... then I placed that container inside a papercup and nuked that puppy in 20 sec intervals. Try it it was so easy!

@myskyy08 Your welcome, it really is easy! I forgot to mention to disinfect your container with some alcohol first after all the jumbo pencil is being applied to your peepers. Let me know how it works out for you or post a vid to my channel. XOXO.
