Exactly. When running full bore the Metro system can only process something like 300,000 people an hour. So if their were 1.5 to 2.0 million there would have been huge disruption and massive jams like on Inauguration Day. There was none of that and Metro ran a regular Saturday schedule.

Stop lying. Those of us that live in DC know the Park Service has been out of the estimate business since the Million Man March (which didn't have a million men) years ago.  There was no where near 2 million. The Inauguration had an estimated 1.8 million and to handle that every hotel for a 100 miles was booked and Metro had trains running full bore. I was at both events and the were LOADS more people at the Inauguration. No comparison. There were no more than 100,000 at this event.
