I miss the old IRT cars.. That red paint scheme was one of the things I remember from my childhood.

@bvestationfan Yep! Freeze the vid at 0:44 and you can see the difference in width between the IRT Redbird and the BMT cars. Well, that's history since originally IRT, BMT, and IND were seperate subway companies at one time. By time it became one system, it was deemed far too expensive to modify the IRT stations, tunnels, and curves to accommodate the wider BMT & IND cars.
