  • Sorry, here I go again.

This really looks to me like Siu Mui Far Kuen Doi Dar, or two man plum flower set. I don't see how this is a Fu Hok set?? Sorry, you guys rock, but look up "tiger and crane sparring" by winglamgkungfu here; that is the 2-Man Fu-Hok I observed many times at Buck's (never learned). There are similarities b/t the two, but I can't discern all the tiger handwork that's at the beginning of the fu-hok set.

  • I'm talking about this sparring set, not just beating up each other btw.

People can snicker about it being pre-defined SET, but keep in mind it dates back to Wong Fei Hung and the Boxer Rebellion. It's not meant as show, just excellent training.

  • I trained at Kong's Siu Lum Pai in UT (sadly closed now), and for me also that is the most intense I've seen. My cuz and I would hit each other hard, 80-90% power, but nothing that fast or fluid. Not even close.

  • choreographed

  • Is this choreographed, or spontaneous?

  • I don't think I've ever seen that pattern done with such intensity. Well done!
