  • Nice car!

I have '96 STS and I really like that car! Sounds exactly like this Eldorado!

  • @V8TransAmGTA The STS is quite the same car from front bumper to the B pillar. I had several Cadillacs of the 90's but the ETC has this special "clean" look from behind with the small taillights and the massive trunklid. I like that...

  • I have a 98 Eldorado. (109,00 miles) Just rebuilt the transmision $3000,00. Uses oil at 350 miles per qt. Constant antifreeze leaks. Head gasket problems with an all aluminum engine with steel head bolts. Now on the 3 rd water pump replacement. Would not recommend this car to anyone. Should you buy one then, may God help you.

  • @zippadydoodah1 I sold the green ETC some years ago and the new owner contacted me telling me how much he loves it. The Eldorado was good for 200.000 mls in 10 years with only a new steering pump at 60k miles. Looks like some Northstars do the job, others don't.

  • @zippadydoodah1 dad had a 95 eldorado for years until some stupid girl rammed it. never had a problem with it, except the ac went. now he has a 01 eldorado, nothing ever goes wrong. you just had a lemon, bro

  • you dont see many 90s eldos on the road anymore or sevilles for that matter..WHY???? cause they are peices of shit that all brake down!!!!

  • Kick ass car. I have a dark green ETC with the 5 spoke chrome wheels. To those twerps that think it's slow. I'll see you in my rear view. I love to surprise suckers! xD

This ain't your grand dad's Cadi boy.

  • nice sound

  • are 90's eldorado, seville, deville good cars for a 17 year old?

  • @eragon1518 These cars have all the luxury features you could dream of as a 17 year old. And they are safe for sure. But they are also 300+ HP V8 cars. Maybe not the kind of power a 17 year old kid should start with. And don't forget about costs. Most Cadillac parts are expensive. Just think of the special suspension or sheetmetal. Don't get me wrong: I liked all my Caddilacs, but I'am not 17 anymore ;-)

  • @eragon1518 No not really, my '96 Eldorado ETC has 300 horses and is a beast. If you're just learning to drive, it may get you wrapped around a tree fast.

  • i like the song who is ?? please tell me

  • is eldorado the same as a seville. just a coupe?

  • buying a cadillac brand new is a BAD INVESTMENT!!! CADILLAC AIN'T NOTHING BUT A NAME!!!

  • Old ass cadillac lmfao

  • 0 handing

  • Who sings a song?

  • 3 doors down

  • Thank you))

  • Nice other then exterior color its identical to mine.

  • mines green and has a moon roof :D

  • Interior looks just like my 97 Seville. I want an El Dorado so bad!

  • Comment removed

  • A fine car. Deserves a little respect I think.

  • Where do you live and what is wrong with it ??????

  • I'm selling mine for $1500.00

  • where ru im looking to buy one

  • i love this car

  • See the flip-out woodgrain ashtray? (in front of the stick. It is $780 Yea, I owned one, had $500 and couldn't fix my ashtray...

  • Yup I hear ya, but that's the price of an near endangered species of wood. Mine cracked right down the center but luckily I found a replacement bezel at a wrecker for $35. Only problem is that the grains don't exactly match with the rest of the car because each car is made from the same tree. But beggars can't be choosers I guess. Love my Seville.

  • yo im selling mine for $3500 im in PA if anyone wants it just message me

  • I rember very early ESC models with the 4.9l engine having no floor shifter. actually I saw only one on ebay with column shifter. ETC models are always floor shift. same as the Deville topmodel, the DTS.

  • good point. The Deville/Concours from 94-95 definitely had a column shifter. I believe 96-99 it was an option on the Devile to have a floor shift or a bench sear with the column shift. The Concours 96-99 probably only came in floor shift. Not sure bout that tho! Anyone?

i've got the 94 concours with the column shift. Im looking for an ETC under 10 grand in the baltimore/DC area! Nice car!

  • The top model in GM lineup alwas had special options like floor shift, yellow tailsignals in back and things like that.

The 94-96 Impala SS had floor shift. All other Caprice models (even the Caprice SS or 9c1 package) had coloumn shift.

  • i wouldnt say "always"

when was the last time you saw yellow signals on a top of the line cadillac? or any cadillac? plus my 94 (concours) was probably the toppermost of the uppermost for that year in all of GM and it has a column shift.

I think its safe to say GM and many other manufacturers tend to think of a floor shift as more "sporty," especially nowadays with the stupid manumatic shifts....

  • I would say, there is a trend to a "euro look" on top of the line models to come closer to BMW and Mercedes. With the yellow signals I meant cars like the Bonneville SSE Or Park Avenue Ultra in the 90s.

With Cadillac the yellow signals are european conversions done by GM. They call these the "Export lamps"

  • 90-04 sts was the last time cadillac had yellow signals

  • i mean 98-04

  • I rember very early ESC models with the 4.9l engine having no floor shifter. actually I saw only one on ebay with column shifter. ETC models are always floor shift. same as the Deville topmodel, the DTS.

  • do all cadillac el dorados have the gear in the middle? that doesnt really look good on a cadillac! i like the gear to be next to the steering wheel like the cadillac deville!

  • terms:

on the tree = shifter on the steering wheel

on the floor = shifter in the middle console

  • Cadillac never made a 305 HP northstar. The engine in your ETC is 300 HP. The HP for the touring cadillacs (STS, Concourse or DTS, ETC or Eldorado Touring, and the 93 Allante) started out with 295 HP when it was pumped up to 300 HP where it stayed there until 2005 when it went to 290 and then in 2006 it wen to 292 and stayed there. I love Eldorados! If I didn't have my Seville, I would have one of those.

  • Here in Europe they had 305 PS which is the equivalent to about 300 hp.

  • Wow thats really nice, it even says how long until you need an oil change!

  • Actually it does tell you when you forgot to close the fuel door.

  • nice exhaust

  • The car is FWD

  • is it rwd or fwd ?

  • whats this song called

  • The song is "Kryptonite". THe artist is "3 doors down"

  • The song is called "Kryptonite" by the band "3 Doors Down"

  • a cadillac that is not leaking oil does not have any oil in it

  • people need to get it right in 92 the northstar came out in the eldo with 270hp in the base eldo and 295 in the touring version of the eldo.. in 94 both versions got a 5hp boost. in 2002 the last year it was still 275 for base and 300 for touring. this guy has touring and his high flow exhaust prally gave him the xtra 5 hp

  • wrong northstar was first introduced in 1993 only in the Allante, Seville STS, and Eldorado ESC & ETC, all other models got the 4.9 which put out 200hp 275tq. The first NS was 295hp,290tq for the Eldo ESC it was 270hp300tq. by 1996 the 4.9 was phased out and all cars had the Northstar, high models (STS, ETC, Concours got the 300hp295tq with vin9 transmission 3.71 final gear, the lower models (ESC, SLS, Sedan Deville got the 275hp300tq + vinY trans final gear 3.11

  • 275-hp, 4.6-liter V-8

    300-hp, 4.6-liter V-8 ECT

    1996 model

my grand dad has the ect it has 300hp and its pretty quick

  • In the US the Eldorado ETC is often shown as a 300 HP car. In Europe the same car is 305 HP. There is a difference in HP ratings in the two countries.

German papers for shown car say 305HP.

Tha car is 100% stock US model without mods.

  • Changes in engine programming due to emmision variations and fuel type in Eurpoe are what lead to the difference in HP numbers.

  • 275-hp, 4.6-liter V-8

    300-hp, 4.6-liter V-8 ECT

  • Sharp, classy car...and you can't go wrong with that Northstar V8.

    Nice ride!

  • cool

  • 69% oil used haha nice..

  • means: you have 69% of the time left, before you need to change oil.

  • i have the 1996 deville wit the northstar 4.6 32 valve they are FAST 0-60 in 6.9!!!!

  • Yeah I got three everyone thinks there slow and actually challenge me to race then they find themselves behind me :) eat that ricer bitches.

  • Eldorados have around 300 hp. I think some came with a 290 hp engine, and most with 300 hp.

  • Eldorado ESC ist 275HP und the ETC model is 305 HP. Same 4.6l Northstar engine, but different tuning and exhaust.

  • Also different transmission

  • 305 is true. Its a cadillac what do u expect. Look it up if u want to its a northstar v8.

  • 305 hp?!?! i dont think so

  • 305 HP with Front Wheel Drive. True..

  • is it factory 305HP or did you modify the engine, i may be buying one soon i was just curious

  • THe 305HP is plain factory standard horsepower of the Northstar V8. There is a 275HP engine version, but the ETC (STS 4-door) always had the 305HP 4.6l 32V
