  • PELOSI WILL ONE DAY MEET HER MAKER,and when she does he will surely send her straight to hades. But before that witch burns in hell I want to see her hang for treason. She and her little crew(and we all know who they are)have comprimised our national security. an act of treason for sure.BURN THAT WITCH AT THE STAKE WITH A NOOSE AROUND HER LITTLE SCRAWNY NECK.

  • nancy halloween is over take off the mask..you hideous witch.

  • schumer is a bobble-head behind pelousi, and if she keeps this BS up, her nose will get even bigger than her ego.

  • I live for the day when this marxist loses her speaker of the house post.

    Worst. Speaker. Ever.

  • for the vidoe producer: PLEASE add her 2006 campaign promise that the "Democrats have a commonsense plan to help bring down skyrocketing gas prices"...price then was about $2.33 per gallon...now it is over $4...it seems Yahoos and YouTube "mods" decided they didnt like that and ahve deleted the videos and news articles, the sheep that they are.

  • Her main task is BUSH-BASHING. Pelosi is one of the MOST CORUPT politicians and RICHEST congressmen/women in congress. She wears expensive necklaces of high luster pearls costing anywhere from several hundred to over a million of dollars. Her husband just won a $25 million dollar PORK Project.

Not counting ENDLESS PORK PROJECTS, she has had for her district and her favorite private companies. She is very good at pointing finger.

  • Pelosi is another neo-con!

  • Why are we surprised? She's just a typical libtard - a worthless, lying sack of crap and hatred.

    She's ugly, too.

  • I laughed my head off in front of Republicans when Pelosi won. NOT because I was glad but because I KNEW SHE COULDN'T handle the job. She's here for the CHHIILLDREN...What about us the Adults?

They raised the Minimum Wage...that's about it. Hell even Dems are angry against them too. 11% Approval Rating...Wow!!!

  • I think the 11% approval rating is more because they took impeachment off the table and have continued to exhibit Stockholm Syndrome by rolling over for the White House. Also, the Republican minority has done a brilliant job of blaming the Democrats for lack of progress when it is the Republicans who have just broken their own previous record for filibusters.

  • So Michelle's big points were rather moot before she even posits why Peliosi has failed to meet her promises.... Peliosi really never promised anything!!

  • The other interpretation of "work" is more like the way our government is supposed to "work". Communication occurs between our branches of government to pass laws, make judgements and govern the people... our three branches almost CAN'T HELP but to do that because of the design of our constitutional government. Once again, Peliosi is using weasel words. There's no meat to discuss here; the language is too vague.

  • ha ha!

  • The main problem I have with this video is that the first two propositions of Peliosi were bulls4!t anyway (no way to unambigouosly measure whether they succeded) Proposition 3 was just weasel words (of Peliosi)... "work with bush", I mean just what does that mean anyway? One way to interpret that would be to work "with" and not "against", and I think evidence stands (Michelle's included) that the democrats never were going to try that approach.

  • The President's new direction in Iraq has be a success - why isn't Pelosi happy?

  • What a FANTASTIC video. It worries the Libertards. Why? Because LESS GOVERNMENT = MORE LIBERTY.

Let the DemonCraps use up their limited lime left in power. I love it!!

  • The 49-member Senate Republican minority has done something no Senate minority in American history has ever done: they've filibustered more bills than any Congress ever has — and they broke the record with a full year to spare. Only a group with a near-pathological disregard for the actual health of our democracy and an imperious disdain for the people of the country could've pulled off such a feat.

  • In just one session, a minority in Congress has prevented a mind-blowing 62 pieces of legislation from going to the floor for an up or down vote. Over and over again, the uncompromising minority has thwarted the will of majorities in Congress and of the American people, holding the Senate floor hostage to a right-wing agenda.

  • Back in April, Trent Lott conceded publicly, "The strategy of being obstructionist can work or fail ... and so far it's working for us."

  • And by the way, just for good measure, let's answer the trivia question. When was the previous record set? That would be the 107th Congress — the last time Republicans were in the minority.

  • If an obstructionist policy results in less beaurocracy being added to our already bloated government, I don't care who obstructs -- I am 100% for it.

  • Just don't blame Nancy Pelosi for it.

  • Michelle; Why don't you run for office*

You know the faults and blunders in congress

and I think that you will clean the HOUSE up!

    Michelle Malkin '08 ?

  • Napolean Bonaparte is famous for saying "Never interupt your enemy when they are making a mistake" In other words today; "Don't interupt the Democrats if they're making a mistake in Congress and doing nothing" Thanks to Newsmax for this piece.

  • Atleast she got the cafe to change its menu!! When you spend all day doing nothing, you get very hungry

  • Unfortunately for the USA, for Repubs "bipartisanship" means "give George Bush everything he demands immediately and smile while you do it!" GW has never compromised on a single thing. That's why Repubs in the 110th Congress have led more filibusters than in any previous session, and the session is only half over! Remember when "obstructionism" was a bad thing?

  • Republicans don't filibuster.

  • Oh really?

"A new report released by the Campaign for America's Future details the 62 times conservatives have used the filibuster to block legislation ... in the first session of the 110th Congress. In just the first year of this two-year Congress, their use of the filibuster in the Senate topped the previous record, reached during the ENTIRE 107th Congress."

  • There have been 62 CLOTURE VOTES, you fool, most of them from the Democrats.

Your report from the Campaign for America's future would mean so much more if the people who belonged weren't too SCARED to say who they are.

Your lack of knowledge about the truth and how this country runs is stagering.

  • Hahaha! So explain then, o political guru, why one has cloture votes? It's to force closure OF A FILIBUSTER! It takes 3/5 of the Senate, which is why we keep getting told we need 60 votes to do anything - that's only true (and this is why the votes come from Dems) because Rethugs have decided to prevent any progress by filibustering EVERYTHING.

  • The GOP is just returning the favor from last time the Dems where in the minority. Which party is always wanting to change Senate rules midstream? We all know its the Dems.

  • Remind me again who threatened to change a century of Senate tradition with the "nuclear option"? The Republicans! The same Trent Lott who is now saying obstructionism is working so well for them.

Republicans - the party of hypocrites for two generations!

  • You are breathingtakingly ignorant.

  • I'm rubber and you're glue!! Nyaah!

  • You just keep showing your ignorance.

The reason the Dems keep having cloture votes is because they don't want to vote AND LOSE.

And who came up with the "we need 60 votes" mantra? Why, Democrats, that's who.

There hasn't been a filibuster in the Congress since 1992; color you clueless, just like all your other lefty friends.

  • Yeah I guess I'm just imagining that Trent Lott quote.

Enjoy your Malkin-Limbaugh-Hannity la-la-land. We'll be wiping it out come November!

  • We got rid of that fool Trent Lott; why don't you do the same for Nancy and Harry?

  • Make no mistake - I'm none too happy with Reid for his shameful refusal to honor Sen. Dodd's hold on the FISA bill because of its reckless grant of immunity for lawbreaking to telecom corps. If he keeps crap like that up, we may well primary him out. But wait! I thought primarying out Dems who weren't acting like Dems make us guilty of Stalinism or something, according to Hannity? As for Nancy, we'll just wait till she makes a crack supporting segregation like Lott.

  • You mean make laws against free speech? My, what style you have, Brownshirt.

  • Huh? WTF are you talking about? Put the bong down and reread what I wrote. lweaton talked about "getting rid" of Lott, and I talked about primarying out Reid or Pelosi or other Democrats who don't stand with the core of the party. (I just joked that we should wait to do so until Nancy does something as heinous as Lott did, since that was what ti took for y'all do dump him.) Methinks you're projecting your own reich-wing fantasies on to me.

  • "Enjoy your Malkin-Limbaugh-Hannity la-la-land. We'll be wiping it out come November!"

Judging by the shutdown of free speech the Dems were fond to try last time against the aforementioned talkshow hosts, your above statement seems questionable to me.

  • Yea, democrats are for raising the minimum wage, but also for opening the borders and letting millions of illegals work at substandard wages under the table, so they can get their votes. dems don't want you to have a good job and wrote the multinational laws during the 1970s sending good jobs across the borders for cheap labor. Tell Pelosi, thanxxx.

  • Of course Republican-supporting corporatists, who want to have lots of illegals that they can pay squat and give no benefits to without bothering with those pesky unions, have NOTHING to do with government laxity toward illegal workers.

  • Also you might want to remind TRENT LOTT of this fantasy of yours, since he said this (via Roll Call, the Capitol Hill news):

"The strategy of being obstructionist can work or fail ... and so far it's working for us."

Also I guess McClatchy News must be making this up: "This year Senate Republicans are threatening filibusters to block more legislation than ever before, a pattern that's rooted in — and could increase — the pettiness and dysfunction in Congress."

  • "Remember when obstructionism was a bad thing?"

Yes, but memory lane is a two-way street. Do you remember the pre-2004 Democrat response to the "obstructionism is bad" argument? Hint: its not the same as the post-2004 opinion.

What we call a "filibuster" today is total joke. They don't stand up and filibuster. They VOTE to filibuster. The 60% thing look extra-constitutional to me.

  • The bullshit that comes from Pelosi's mouth is typical of todays democrats. Where's the lady killer ted during the debates? They are keeping him quiet.

  • Probably sleeping off another hangover after drinking with his son Patrick "I never worked a day in my life"

  • "We need a new direction in Iraq. Mr. Bush Give us a new direction."

Uh lady I don't think he's the best person to ask.

  • Yeah, Pelosi wasn't able to make good on alot of those promises but all I know is many poor, disadvantaged, low-income families across the nation are pretty damned please that congress was able to raise the federal minium wage.

  • the minimum wage is designed for high school students and people entering the job market, it is not a living wage.take away the crutch stop the minimum wage

  • You lead a pretty sheltered existence, don't you? Luckily we have this thing called the Department of Labor that does statistics on this kind of thing, or people might believe what you say.

  • Yeah you're absolutely right. There isn't anyone that's happy to be making extra money. There is not one, single mother out there in the whole U.S. who's trying to make it at some crap job that's not enthralled to take home a little extra more.

  • If she said, "bring the troops home" they would have accused her of not supporting the troops and of supporting al qaeda.

Ron Paul would bring them home.

  • Ron Paul couldn't find his ass with a hand full of fish hooks.

  • Isn't funny how she can't say "Bring the troops home." but "we need a new direction in Iraq" and tries to rally the crowd on that passive line? That's like a coach giving a pep talk to his team by saying "COME ON LADS! WE NEED TO GO OUT THERE AND ADEQUATELY PERFORM!"

  • Nancy is one dangerous woman. Old hippies are gross

  • obviously a left wing plant... but if you are conservative why dont you go out back and clean your guns and stop bothering the sensible people on the internet that just want to enjoy a productive discourse.

  • Lol. Michelle went EASY on Pelosi. I would have run each promise, 1-3, followed by clips of Pelosi and other Dems flagrantly doing the opposite.

Think of all the times pelosi and the dems have said the most hateful, ridiculous, over-the-top crap about Bush and other repubs. They're pathological. I've been pretty soured on being an American for the first time in my LIFE, ever since the Dems won in 2006. Cuz they did NOT deserve to be elected, far far far from it.... :(

  • "I would have run each promise, 1-3, followed by clips of Pelosi and other Dems flagrantly doing the opposite."

I'm sure they WANTED to do that but couldn't find the clips... But you're right, this video is pretty half-assed.

  • she spent $16,000 of tax payers money on flowers for her office. great job Nancy.

  • If they can just assassinate Bush and Cheney, or impeach them, then Nancy can be President of the United States.

Where are the leftists, the subversives, commenting on all the other Bash Bush hate America videos? Have they no balls?

  • The cafeteria food really had to go.

  • What a phony old white bitch she is. Useless baggage - emphasis on "bag."

  • Um, which "she"?

The Speaker seems closer to ending American Sovereignty than anyone else inside or outside of the the beltway (well, a Sumpreme Court Justice or two may be in the mix). But the only "con" she could every be is as in "against" or "con-vict".

  • I was referring to Pelousy and I guess the term would be NeoLib. Either way both NEO groups are out to end are sovereignty. Sooner or later "We The People" will have to spill more blood to defend our Constitution.

  • You are quick to say it will come to bloodshed. I disagree.

  • yup, they sure have been fiscally responsible and ethical, just ask william Jefferson, John Murtha and Al C. Hastings.

I noticed Nancies forehead only read "665".

  • No wonder the House apprroval ratings are

14% by general public , even lower than

bushes 24% approval ratings , what a dismal

failure the democrats turned out to be.

  • I would say elroy2112, not just dismal ... but dismally dismal.

  • You're pretty generous on the House approval. I've read 11%.

  • Brilliant, fact based and to the point.

I love the Hot Air team.

  • Bipartianship = Do things my way.

Compromise = Do things my way.

  • Democrats... apply directly to the problem...

    Remember that? What a joke...

  • SHOCKA!!

  • we need an end to the two party system

  • Great job once again Michelle. You and the Hot Air Team keep up the good work in 2008.

  • Don't forget Barney Frank's appointment as chairman of the Finance Committee, she refused to talk with George Bush but was more then happy to talk to Bashar al-Assad, John Boehner won his lawsuit against Jim McDermott, she has had a number of closed door discussions with fellow Democrats, wanted William Jefferson on the Homeland Security Committee, the Ethics Committee has done nothing. She just talks out of her ass like most 'crats do. Her "new direction" is in the sewer.

  • I thought it was Newt Gingrich that sued McDermott. Either way, McDermott is a sleazebag, just like Osama Mama Murray.

  • Well, what happened was McDermott got a hold of a telephone conversation between Boehner and Gingrich and released it to the public. An he goes around complaining about wiretapping. LOL!!

  • Thanks for clearing that up. Anyways, we both know liberals are against wiretapping terrorists.

  • and principled concervatives.

  • And who is a terrorist? Republican answer: EVERYONE

  • Yeah Yeah, the Dems are crooks, so vote for the Repubs!

    Or.....if you're tired of the old scam-on-taxpayers......

VOTE RON PAUL in '08! ALL THE OTHERS ARE FOR THE STATUS QUO, which has caused our bankruptcy!

  • Thank you for pointing out the hypocrisy of the Democrats by using their own words and actions or lack of.

  • She also fought to get the government to supply her with a larger private jet.

  • I really have no "use" for the Speaker, however in the instance of the USAF transport I don't think she was entirely off base. In fact, I would insist that ANY Speaker of the House, as #3 in line, should have access to an aircraft capable of assuming command and control of the nation's nuclear arsenal in the event of A Really Bad News Event takes out the POTUS and VEEP.

  • She had such a jet, but wanted a large one.

  • I'm not so sure.... The jet allocated was not in flight re-fuel capable (bad mojo in worst case scenarios). Also, I believe maint. folks would have to install special HF radio and other equipment if the Speaker was taking one of the smaller jets... Sorry - going on memory here.

The Speaker is the Speaker, no matter how much I may dislike the current occupant of the office.
