Is it just me, or when they interview Ms. Knudson it looked as if she was reading off of a teleprompter? Her track record is shoddy at very best, this will only serve to further tarnish her already less than stellar reputation. If she wants to show that she has the people of Sioux Falls in her best interest, she would focus on the task at hand, rather than try to "multi-task". She is elected to do a job for our community, last I checked Larry King has nothing to do with Sioux Falls. Grow up, De!
So why do they need to watch tv during the meetings? I guess they're really not that interested in what the people they are supposed to "represent " have to say, unless of course, its an election year.
She says the reason is because alot of times the same information has been presented 2 to 3 times already so she has no reason not to give herself something to do. Why would she be so open about it unless she knew that it was acceptable at the time.
If the members of her community take time out of their lives to voice their opinions on the matter, why is it so hard for her to give them the courtesy of listening instead of watching the Olympics? She is so open about doing this because she thinks she's above the community and can do anything she wants to. Maybe next time she speaks to the community on an issue, the audience she all bring books or laptops to watch TV since we've all heard it all before.
