  • Beautiful children. I'm glad that there are parents out there teaching their babies to swim. It's always a good thing to teach a child especially when drowning is the number one child killer. I applaud thee :)

  • whoa! as amazing as this is..... did the babe die or something?

  • wow amazing i cant believe how brave he is!! you are truly blessed!!

  • The music makes it sound like at the end of the video its gonna say RIP,,

  • im 18 and ive never been on a diving board.. i so envy tht baby

  • dude thats nuts. usualy u gasp for air after a jump!

  • Had to mute your video because of the horrific music!

  • wew..........

  • He is the definition of LOVE

  • that was Michael Phelp in 1974

  • Wow!!! That's all I can say :)

  • Its good but the only problem is that when the baby overcomes the fear of water and jumps in when no ones around....

  • @utubesanjay any kid left alone dont matter if they r afraid of the watter or not, will jump in the water... its a good mechanism of survival just in case by any chance parents missed them by a second... a child should not be left alone where there is a pool around or where there is enough water for a child to drown....

  • many people drown because they tend to panic if you relax and take control you will know what to do... so dont come with that BS about if the kid gets Comfortable will go ahead and jump when hes not suppose to... thats why they r adults around to supervised them

  • OMG!!!! I can't swim and a 17 month old baby can it annoys me when people that are younger than me can do things better than I can ...

  • You know you think your so smart by answering SHUT UP!!! I will send this to child services and am sure they will think your the worst mother ever ........ you stupid person your baby can fall on concert your stupid ignorant uncaring individual how can you not care just thinking of yourself and not your babies safety. This child should be taken away from you to keep him/her safe.

  • @electrabizzz Jeez dude relax, its just a few feet drop. Unless it dropped from a building the baby is just fine. -.-

  • @electrabizzz what concert? haha she's only worried about the babies safety

the baby might've fall .. (just concerned, but what's with the "SHUT UP" thing? haha)

  • IF THE BABY FALLS ON THE CONCRETE THEN WHAT ............AND THE PARENTS ARE IN THE POOL ......... WOW! GREAT PARENTS

  • @electrabizzz SHUT UP !

  • he looks like he can bearly walk and hes already swimimg??? i must say both impressive and scary as well he looks too little

  • so cute!!!

  • Cute and also brave child who is experiece fun

  • WOW, that is amazing! =D

  • Wow is all i can say

  • i think there gonna play this song and review this video at his funeral xD

  • Proud of ya baby!! My family proud of you here :D

  • How would she feel if he fell off the side and busted his skull on the concrete? Shoulda waited until he walked a little further down the board before leaving him.

  • if my mother was watching this she might hav a heart attac. but cute.

  • congratulations !!! i love to watch this vidio because make me wish to get my baby so fast wooow

    fantastic

  • OMG HAHAHA BLESS HIM!!!

  • that baby can even climb up the ladder by him self o.o for a 17 moth old babby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That is an incredible 17 month old baby, so well devloped for his age, i would like to meet him nowadays, i can imagine he would make an incredible athlete, either way i can see him being a very ditermined person.

  • baby can't be prevented from walking, does it alone whether helped or not, but can be prevented from walking off the edge of a cliff b/c an adult lets him walk where he is ready to walk; I didn't think he was in good enough control for the diving board; that doesn't imply that he shouldn't walk or that we should live afraid of a fall; it just says we should measure the readiness & the risk. I think the risk was high for the degree of unsteadiness in this baby.

  • baby shouldn't do this b/c he could jump off too close to board & catch back of head on the board or slip as it's wet & he is very unsteady. By now, he's probably a big boy but I think this was risky for this age. Yes, he's a doll though, a beautiful boy.

  • @Maweeha - fair points and all true except diving boards are not slippery when wet!

  • bravo a ce petit bb! c tro chou!

  • he is so adorable! i wish i couldve swam like him at his age! he's rele good for 17 months old! i was stuff with floaters haha!

  • 1. if i jump in a pool i have to hold my nose or ima choke and nose will hurt but this kid is is is just amazing

  • @myfood123 lol dont worry i have to hold my bloody nose aswellwhich is annoying bur now,I tilt my head down and dive and im fine, and when i do hand stands in the pool i tilt my head down without holding my nose and it doesnt get water up there or anything

  • @mrslilo93 well to me water goes in my nose then i choke

  • I am not a swimer but I do think that one learns to swim when one loose the fear of being in the water. Although that kid is not a swimer yet, he is learning how to be comfortable in the water and that I think is the most dificult part of learning to swim.

  • aww he's so adorable ;]]] .. that's cool that he can already swim when he's that younggg ..

  • kool vid.....how do u change camera view?

  • yall do realize this movie is from 1987 right? so this baby is like 22 now.lol

  • LOL. its so cute how he dives in the water.

  • How do you teach a baby so young to swim! i take my 2 year old regularly but he cant seem to grasp it unless he has waterwings on!

  • Waterwings are the worst thing to do at that point, they give them a very false sense of security, and are a convenience for parents only. I teach swim to infants from 6 months of age and up. This child must have been in since a young age, but get him into a swim school and take lessons, great not only to teach swmi, but they gain tons of confidence!!

  • last time we went was the first time I tried the waterwings as they were recommended by a friend. I see what you mean, I'll not be using them again. I'd love to teach him how to swim but he's very nervous in the water and will not put his head under the water at all do you have any tips to help with that?

  • My biggest suggestion with a nervous baby is to go slow, and make it fun. Pool toys, knocking things down on the side etc. Better to go slow than to scare him and take 10 steps backwards. Work on blowing bubbles in the water. bending over to get rings on a step, etc. Give him a while before you start unders. When you do make them nice and slow, relax and he will. We use a 1, 2, 3, up (that his cue to hold a breath) and then under. Always do everything 3 times, and don't make em optional

  • After a few splutters and coughing he'll get the hang of it. A little water in his belly the first time isn't a real big deal. Just work through it and be consistent! Good luck :)

  • What concerns me here is baby jumps close to board where he could catch the base of his skull on the board as he goes down and knock himself out. It's happened to professional divers.

  • Un video muy bonito

  • Thats sooo cute! x

  • adorable!

    ..but the music killed it

  • your a fag for putting that music in the background. when your kid is 15 he's going to punch you in the throat.

  • hahaha

  • lmfao this is awsome!!!!! cool kid! aha at first i was scared for him cause i thought he looked like he was drowning but he likes it and doesnt breath in the air =]

    -Panicxxrox

  • no it's not!

  • whats not?

  • so.cute. and encouraging.Its a pity I stillcant swim.:(

  • Full credit to you as parents, I have put my 3 children 16, 11 and 6 into swimming lessons from 3 months of age up until now, believe me the benefits are endless.

Im am due for my fourth baby in 11 weeks and it will be no differant once she is 3 months of age...Its vital and should be compulsury for all babies and infants to be taught to swim.

The death rate is alarming from infant drownings here in Sydney australia, very sad indeed.

  • reminds me of a peguin or looks like hes flying with those arms haha very nice

  • um? YOU can but babies can barley walk and this one can dive and swim perfectly!

  • and walk good too

  • lol i know i was just being dumb

  • not impressive all babies can swim and jump

  • Well He Could Be The Olympics If He Keeps Swimming.♥

  • amazing baby!

  • aww. hes a sweety pie

  • thats great , he's a rock star

  • He'll be a great lifeguard if he wanted to be one he's rock at it!

  • Future swimmer?

  • Every baby is capable of this.

  • Very young baby can do that without lessons. I am not sure if older baby or young child can do it without lessons.

  • when they'er babies they kidn of teach themselves. they dont actually learn to swim but to float incase they ever fall in water and cant get out. they teach themselves to float when they are about 6,7,or 8 month old. id know because thats how old my baby brother is. they still need extreme adult supervision though. when they get a bit older about 1-2 years them they might be able to learn a thing or two about how to actually swim.

  • i envy his diving board bravery! skills! :D

  • he is so cute, and he makes me feel alot less afraid to dive now lol

  • OMG! 17 months old thats amazing, swimming in deep water, i think hes gifted

  • He is as capable as any baby. Any baby can do this with lessons.
