ive had it running up to 3.3 max so far on tec..but seems to run most stable for me at 3.0ghz which is fine for me..

Just wondering, do you play games such as Crysis or World in Conflict, if so, I'd love to know how this computer performs. I, personally have a Dell Quad core and it can handle any game you throw at it. If you could respond, it'd be greatly appreciated.

i play crysis i think below i posted on it..world in conflict i used to dont have it installed due to the fact i lost the key for it and they want me to pay shipping and 10 bucks for a replacement which i decided otherwise...i payed full price when it was new..not paying anymore over a accident..

sounds like a idea :P..i did my 3dmark06 allready at stock was 13901,, second with a minor oc im at 14401..would love to see the score with xfire and my new ram im about to pick up..but im sure i can get a better score with more of a oc to the cpu witch is possible..

or even a single 4870x2 would boost it quite a bit..thats my goal still to get the 4870x2 or hell even some better drivers for the 4xxx series..seen your crysis avg fps..mine are with all on max. aa at 2x dx10 1680-1050 was 23-28 fps avg..not to shabby i suppose, very playable.

uch waist of money the Q6600 is... its an awful processor yes it gets a little more fps in gaming but everything else is extremely slow trust me i have one and i hate it i barely use the system im always using my AMD 6000+ system runs alot more smoother and not only games work great the system loads quicker and so does everything thing else its not all jumpy like the Q6600 hate it .. but everything else youve chosen is good.. i have 4GB OCZ and its great looks good to i wouldnt use corsair crap.

i sujest OCZ memory its very overclockable and looks good and it works great to. i sujest it well over corsair memory i know that in the past theres been alot of problems with corsair memory and games.

you only need cd keys for online play on pc games when u install it you can type any random 6 digits and it'll still install

Overall, I would like a 3Ghz Phenom chip. AMD is getting there, but by the look of the 9950, I might want to try that chip. I love the 6400+, but It's not completely future-proof. For now, it's perfect for my set-up.

yeah.. im still using my 6400 in a older pc for less demanding apps..but it does just fine if u game n such right now.. may not got the "uber" score on futuremark or such but does ok but the 9950 really surprised me.. my load times n such with vista ult jumped by a long shot, loading apps and converting such items. and its easily oc'able to.. i planed on waiting but didnt want to keep on waiting so i decided to jump and glad i did :P

Yeah my Futuremark score is only about 8900 or so. It's not benchmark strong, but it plays all of the games I like very well. Because the 6400+ works so well for me, that is why I'm not really looking for a Phenom right now, but I am definitely keeping my eyes open. I am very glad that the 9950 surprised you, that means that AMD is getting their shit together. I might look into getting that, or the very next Phenom in the future. Thanks.

Well reguarding the 6400+ its a decent chip but the 9950 os quite a bit better and a good jump for me...for me if your waiting for the next best thing u will be waiting forever..

Well as of right now i havent had one issue with it..the movo posted and recognised the cpu no probs..im runnin at 3ghz as stated below..can go higher. loads vista fast..havent boged down yet.. runs games plenty good.. no issues with crysis or such yet....big jump from the 6400+ in my eyes..very good price/performance in my book

You should be getting alot more than that. MY x2 5000+@3.2 ghz rig gets a little under 10k with a 3870 OC and 4gb of RAM.

i just started tinkering with it tonight. need to reseat my TeC facing to the back.. thenill have to remove a stick a ram which i dont wanna but hey...just not enough airflow going up to top exhaust fans..still 30-31c isnt bad even while running a few programs.
