  • The first responsibility is to define "help." Many children who are diagnosed and forcibly drugged are afflicted with nothing more than childhood, especially boyhood. In the age of feminism-psychiatry, boyhood is considered a childhood disease as manhood is a putative crime.

  • I knew she wasnt an american. I thought she was from Canada because she does like Celine Dion.

  • Well I think that really you can't help if child doesn't want to be helped!

  • @pon4iks - I think you can help them in other ways find out something their passionate about and bring that out of them in the subject you teach. Erm, some subjects the student is not interested because they can't relate to the subject. :-)

  • The Lamp I bough from india... where kids are worked in slavery camps... Sorry to be a downer... but I believe everyone has a perpose but I also believe where there is good there is bad... and bad well its everywhere at the minute. I hate that this is there... the food we eat that has posiens and dangrous chemicals... where there is greed by people there is explotation by business and they need people. Its getting stronger each day we need people to see the truth. An not allow others to be hurt!

  • @TheaDragonSpirit Sweeteners in food... dodgy man made chemicals that harm are body that is are temple! water that is positioned with fluoride and harm Full chemicals. All this is said to help are teeth? But then why is nothing added to help are bodies... like more vitamin c from apples and so on? why is it only a chemical from a nuclear waste plant that gets added... why is it that humans don't see far & wide & are just stuck in there box... these chemicals don't help people... they kill them!

  • @TheaDragonSpirit However you could see this as something that needs stopping and therefor this gives someone a purpose... to help people understand evil... that way they can make sure it never happens in future :)

  • I believe like you, I see so many people who professional disguard as someone with no valves, they are human and if we look at each person as "I can help make a different with them" the both of us are the better for it.

    Kay

  • I'm in love

  • speaking the truth

  • You need to do more videos!

  • yes tht child was me could you come over my house and hug me

  • Yes that is a good idea.

and think everybody should be nice to each other. No joke.

  • I think our self-worth needs to come from something more substantial. Most of it is a weariness, and a game of the egos. Doesn't anyone sense the enduring meaninglessness is most of what we do? We need to get honest, so we can turn to each other.

  • I understand the point, but what does this all mean in the end? Policeman police bridge traffic. Nurses heal people injured in bridge traffic. Financiers finance bridge building. Etc. I don't want to spoil anyone's party, but I can't help seeing only emptiness in this stuff.

  • Hmmm... maybe it's because you feel empty inside yourself. Then you might see emptiness anywhere.

  • penis

  • I was one kid who did not liked to be helped. I did my best to maintain low profile, and hide my intentions and emotions.

Still i cannot figure out the reason why i do that.

  • Very good video. Keep up the good work and thanks.

  • I am the person that others needed to lower in order to elevate themselves. I am the one that was told I was worthless, good for nothing. I am the one that has learned to overcome and find the good inside of me.

  • yes,,,,, i agree,, the more we knew bout kids the more we careful to react to them especially for us ...(special need teachers) regard from indonesia....

  • i have a back injury and it's quite unhelpful :D but good point tho :)

  • What a great video, i wish i could be helped :(

  • yes it does help (^_^)

    thank you :D

  • to the speaker in the video :

teaching or encouraging others to study ordinary knowledge is luring them into the system that is merely called civilization, i would prefer to be depressed than to get lost and trapped and being abused that way.

science is a trap, education is brain-washing, society is conspiracy, a shiny apple that is rotten and poisonous to the core.

nevertheless, i loved watching you ;).

  • Our societal structure is largely arbitrary. We can change it though, and this requires science and education, but not in the way it is currently presented, not all of what is currently taught.

  • There are so many people who are totally misunderstood and absolutely kept beneath a glass cieling and not able to meet their potential thanks to expediency, lack of patience, stereotypes and conventions, people jumping to false conclusions based on fallacy and falsehood and...People need time they need off ramps and patience and acceptance...

there are a lot of ways that society contributes to the thwarting of individuals in many ways

  • Great background. You look like you're on Mars. Are you?

  • There is a most wonderful 7 part speech on youtube called, God Is Greater Than Our Hearts. It is done by Jehovah's Witnesses. I am not a J.W. but I listened to the speech & it is truly one of the most beautiful speeches I have ever heard. Everybody in the world should hear it. It shows understanding of people. I hope that many of you will listen to it. You won't be disappointed. Just type in, God Is Greater Than Our Hearts. I am not trying to convert anyone. Please just try it out. Take care all

  • We need more Caroline.

  • I had a similar experience that your brother had. Why is it that there's ONLY that ONE awesome teacher yet the rest of them are mediocre or substandard? My friends tell me about that ONE special teacher they had too. Why aren't their more exceptional teachers out there? It's a mystery to me.

My theory is there are a lot of teachers that are just going through the motions and either won't or don't have the mental resources to get connected to their students like they should.

  • well i have to disagree with you here my friend, cuz i know of MORE THAN ONE teacher who were special to me. and wonderful individuals. :]

  • The question could also be rephrased to "how far will people go to help children?" Of course we want give the best and most "help" we can give. Although this is all well intentioned, it can push the child further away. Some children will never "get it" that is a sad reality, but true.

  • I've been teaching for many years and while I would agree that there are no children who cannot be helped, there are kids in many schools who do not want to be taught in any way. If they don't like your subject, it doesn't matter how you teach, they'll wreck your lesson anyway. Some of these so-called experts should come and try to teach in some of England's worst schools. They wouldn't last five minutes.

  • but its really about how you look at things in your life. if you perceive it as bad or negative, you'll attract more of the same. if they dont like the lesson, make it more interesting or fun. i know there's not that many kids who would purposefully wreck your lesson. sure, there are some, but most wouldnt waste their time trying to waste your time and interrupt your lesson, i believe. and i should know, i'm a college student, who graduated last yr from highschool.

  • I could name several individuals who cannot be helped: George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Condi Rice, Richard Pearl, Donald Rumsfeld and many many more.

  • lol good one.

  • Find the underlying cause of the behaviour and the behaviour improves. Sometimes it is necessary to move a child into the class of another teacher. Not every kid clicks with every teacher. If you find a teacher like the one that this lady mentioned, make sure that your community acknowledges this person. Great teachers are the hope of the future. When teachers are paid more than 'Big Brother' contestants, you will know that we have attained "civilisation".

    spider.

  • i completely agree.

  • My first classroom was full of kids that the other teachers did not want in their class. What a zoo; 36 unwanted kids and a teacher who had no idea what he was doing! This room was full of kids with talents that no-one had noticed, or worse still, didn't value. One kid was deaf in one ear; he was in year six and no one had picked it up! I asked him to sit a bit closer to the front and his behaviour improved. He was too proud to say that he could hear properly.

  • this lady always makes me feel good

  • I wish someone labelled that kid as mentally retarded.

  • Sorry but when I was growing up there was some little shit kid that the teachers kept trying to "help" whilst he was fucking up the education of the rest of class with his diruptiveness and attention seeking.

Sorry but some kids should be made to study on there own because that little bully sure wrecked my schooling and many others...

    Nice piano music though...

  • id hit it

  • You have a beautifully soothing way about you.

    Nice video.

  • you guys are great..keep the video coming and i think more people are starting to watch your videos.

  • I think everyone has potential at something! I used to do some peer math tutoring for those who were labeled "mentally challenged" by assinine teachers who couldn't do their jobs right- both of the peers I tutored eventually passed their class... and I certainly had no teaching degree! Our education systems are just way too messed up right now, and I can't believe how few people realize/care about this!

  • well said.

  • @zombieszombiesz I'm glad you mentioned peer learning, because currently, UCLA is cutting its free peer learning services in math, science, and writing. Somewhat different from your case, our services aren't remedial --they're for everyone (regardless of previous educational experience, socioeconomic status)--it's a level playing field that helps students gain perspectives outside the classroom, and network with fellow UCLA peers. • I believe. It is true that some of the hardest to help people have turned from anger, hurt, and non-caring to caring and loving people helping others because someone cared enough to stay around and not give up on them. Love and long-patience is always successful. Love never fails (the Bible says so). I'm glad that you cared enough to make this video. Your heart is beautiful!!!

  • I would agree on this, with just one exception. You can help everyone, except those that will NOT be helped. Perhaps this is what the teachers you queried had in mind. Such person don't want to be helped, and any such "help" is extremely unwelcome. I think it is best that we respect that choice in others, as in the end, it will only lead to the frustration of both parties.

  • this may be true for adults, but you seriously think that there are children who don't want to be helped?

  • of course they do. i know i did and i know several who do want it, but are too scared, ashamed, or proud to ask/say/admit it.

  • Is it okay for adults to ask for help? LOL! I feel like I need a lot of help nowadays.

  • A lot of clever talk. you say people that can not communicate fight when there lost for words. Maybe you should make sure your leaders can speak the languages of all the countries they are @ war with. Most Iraqis speak English and are not lazy to communicate. If the west can't communicate there ideas to some middle eastern country what happens?.

  • Interessante Geschichte, fast wie ein Märchen!

    Liebe Grüße aus Mainz!

  • unfortunately a lot of educators have not business being in that occupation.

  • if all teachers were like you there would be no adhd prescriptions

  • terrorists are not helpful.

  • Perhaps if someone had bothered to teach them that infidels or just enemies were people like themselves with different beliefs who have families and friends and if the infidels or enemies had not treated them like sub-humans murdering their family and friends albeit by collateral damage or just meanness then perhaps they might not have become terrorists. To believe otherwise is to have no hope for the future.

  • People can be helped and they can change for the better, it just takes a little wisdom and the intention to help. It starts where you live and work.

  • Very nice story and I agree with you. The subjects in school I was good at were directly related to the attitude I got from the teachers that taught me. I hated my French/Algebra teachers because they were asses but loved my English teacher because she always loved my writing ability and encouraged me everyday.

  • I love your video's, keep making more please, I enjoy them very much :D

  • what a nice heartfelt story/video. Thank God for people like your brother's teacher. Those are the people who listen to the voice that speaks to their heart.

  • I have a better one for dust - it bio-degrades and builds new things.

    Jah bless all.

  • there should be more people like you in this world!

  • I work in special ed and I believe all children can be helped however the educational setting (school) is not the appropriate setting for all of my children.

  • Your my favorite teacher. Such a sweetie, with a great attitude!

  • aww im 1 of those kids who cant b helped in math =( . i dont see anthing near me that wont help me ? wow amazing .

  • inspiring story...

    thanks for sharing...

    Peace2U

  • I could only speak russian, then it got to the point where i would do it to annoy the teachers who wanted me to speak english.

  • hahahah thts funny ! im russian but i dont speak it tht much anymore .

  • same, its been years... i eventually gave in but it was so fun while it lasted to annoy them. i even called them by the russian versions of their names, there was a tanya, a teacher at my preschool and she hated it cause i always said her name funny. haha!

  • hahaha!!! thts great ! yea i would annoy my teachers too . i gave a little but my mom said i better shape up soon . and i think im gonna .

  • lots of people can teach few can inspire to learn ,we should choose our teachers very carefully and pay them very well, they are in charge of our future

  • this is so awesome ! loved your view//

  • very inspiring!

  • I think I have seen this before, I like her videos. Are you planning to make more videos of her?

  • You can't teach a child who doesn't want to learn. Which is one reason the compulsory school system fails.

  • Yes, well said Chandlerbin2006. Forcing things upon people saps all the fun and mystery out of the topic/thing.

  • Nice to see Caroline again!

  • cool

  • Awesome story =)

  • your one in a million! super nice

  • What is the Matrix?
