I really wish Pink Floyd would have filmed/released more throughout their history. It would be amazing to see everything they did throughout the 70s in DVD quality video. Oh well...
I wonder why somebody doesn't have a documentary like this (showing the stage being built and whatnot) for the 1994 tour. The stage the used on The Division Bell was bigger than the one used on The Wall. I know there are a few pictures and stuff of it being built, but you have to agree seeing the one built in '94 has to be cool.
lol roger said he would never take it further than that show but he did he took it to berlin where it was fucking epic and hes touring it again with better technology
My birthday was August 8, 1980 That year, so blissfully unaware, sad to admit. I did get THE WALL album used a few years after it's release, on CD it seemed uber-spendy!
Awesome. When you think about the amount of creativity and work that went into making this show its mind boggling and you wonder how the heck they pulled it all off.
The beginning looks like some kind of religious documentary. Very corny. Fucking clouds? Whats with the voice? If that was intentional and done tongue in cheek it was quite funny, but if it was done to try and make some kind of grand(or not so grand) statement it was LAME. Other than that this vid was great. Thanks for uploading.
Man this is fucking rare...well, now its on you tube maybe not, but what a good find this is and good upload.... never saw this footage before...5 stars
$100,000 worth of chains and rigging in 29 years ago, wow that must have been some venue! Saw them at Earls Court here in England in '94..cheers for the post!

Give me their first album or Saucerful of Secrets any day of the week. The Wall is an utterly dreary album.
