@nicosmind Viruses can't be cured. Can you cure broken bones? No. Treated yes. Cure and treatment are different things. All these reporters are being intentionally or unintentionally fraudulent. Nothing in marijuana promotes the growth of new brain cells with a net gain over that which it kills. Marijuana is a psychadelic, and damages the brain, permenantly with prolonged use. Saying that weed can cure cancer is like saying tobacco can cure amnesia and diabetes.

Cancer cannot be cured any more than a broken leg can be cured. It can't. It can be treated, nothing more. Marijuana is not in any way an effective treatment for cancer. The entire reason cancer is not effectively destroyed by the human immune system is because the cells STOP "eating themselves"(called apoptosis). No chemical in the world can force cancer cells to undergo this process, as the only chemical that sets it off no longer works. Stop trying to make weed look healthy. It isn't.

@exel Cancer can be removed. You might as well say a virus cant be cured. Its little creatures invading your cells and multiplying(cancer cells multiply hence the analogy). Diseases like aids and many others are cells floating around your body and dividing and theyre even worst cause many of them actively attack your body. @KILLERDOGZ1 Have you missed the point in the video? Have you missed the point about the many studies done into marijuana smokers vs cigarette smokers? They thought that cause there was more tar etc in marijuana that marijuana smokers would have higher levels of cancer but instead had lower levels than even the general public. That hemp oil is a very effective cure especially for skin cancers(not to forget a good pain killer).

@KILLERDOGZ1 Any type of smoke is bad for the lungs but the comparison of marijuana to tobacco just makes marijuana look like barney compared to hitler. Marijuana doesn't cause cancer but can cause emphysema. You have to smoke a impossible amount to even come close. Either way the cure isn't smoking marijuana, it is changing it into hash oil where it has absolutely no negative effects to the body and can curse multiple kinds of cancer.

Whatever you want to call it its because powerful businesses get rules and regulations written for them by government. Their lobbiers have far too much power! I would love to reform the system to enable the small businesses to have as much rights and freedoms of the big. I think the key lies with the lobbiers.

@mallardhead I agree and disagree. If they could focus on the healing properties and get rid of the negative that would be fantastic. And the powerful forms of marijuana should still be banned. But the light forms, that have no real strength, that doesnt get you too stoned should be legal. They put you in a good mood, might make you giggle, chill you out and kill chronic pain. I have no problem with that especially considering theres no way to overdose & compared with alcohol like you said.

I got it clearly! - Were I in charge of govt I'd get the medical research in high gear and the meds to market asap. I would legalize the use for adults, and ascribe serious consequences to those who commit crimes while high on it. Ex: you're high and kill someone while driving? I don't give a damn if it was diminished capacity. You never drive again and 3/4 of your wages go to the family of the deceased until you die. I'd do the same for alcohol. Next strike-prison!
