I had a chance to catch ELF open for Purple in 74 and the thing that I remember most is that they had a 2nd percussionist with rack mounted congo style drums that were played while standing. I have looked for images of the band in this configuration and information on who the percussionist was, but I come up empty handed.
ELF really were a great band. i love all the records and i will never forget their music. Ronnie is a person who will forever stay with me. He was a wonderfull person and that comes out through his music
