It's true. My teachers said so in the school Assembly. And it was on the news as well. At least in Singapore. Furthermore, if you have the time, you can try google, and i'm sure you'll be able to find the true story. Have fun!

Did and found the true story. These two men bought a lion from Harrods in 1969. After 1 year, he outgrew the apartment and they took him to africa to see if he could be released. after a year in the wild, they went back, even though they were told he wouldn't remember them. He did.

I've seen these two men recently and heard the story, plus spoken with londoners from around the time Christian was a cub.

If you read my original response, I never insulted him. I simply misunderstood his "slang" (which, by the way, died along with 'bling' and 'tight' from what I know). All he had to do was say something to the effect of "haha, no I meant it was awesome" rather than calling me "such of idiot".
