Games like ADOM or Realms of Arkania trilogy :P all the new games kinda suck balls because the production has become just money making so they dont focus at all on the game itself anymore. Best games last/this year were ps3 games like demon souls and saints row 3 :P

If you don't mind, may I ask what strings your using? I'm experimenting with different kinds so I can get the tone I want. Right now I use Ernie Ball Super Slinky's. I've ordered a pack of Ernie Ball Skinny Top Heavy Bottom, a pack of Ernie Ball Hyrbrids, and some Dean Markley Blue Steel strings. I also want to try some D'Addario's.

@LTDGuitars420 I used to use DRs but they intonate horribly and don't last very long either. GHS or Ernie ball is the way to go as far as overall tone, duration, and feel go. In my opinion of course. Elixr's cost more than other strings and I tried several packs that didn't last very long at all before they went dead :/

How do you overcome habituation when searching for guitar tones? Don't your ears get used to nearly any tone very quickly even if it's not exactly what you want? I'll tone hunt, like what I have, compare it to something professional and realize immediately that my tone sucked. Give me some advice, please

@alawrence89 It happens over a period of time to anyone, but the thing is that with the axefx, you can get such a range of tones, that its just a matter of tweaking it rather than buying entirely new setups every time like we used to haha.
