Larmtube, I don't know how you can say "this is 100% Armenian, that is 100% Azeri," or whatever. For centuries, these people have lived, shared and mixed together. You wrote that Armenians do not sing long vibrato notes. Well, maybe the Kavkas Armenians don't, but the Armenians from Anadolu do. Maybe this is Turkish, or Persian, or Arabic in origin. I don't care, I just enjoy it. I've heard Turks perform Sayat Nova music with far greater feeling and authenticity than today's Armenians.

Personally, I've always believed that ALL the Kavkas nations should join together and form a United States of Caucasia. Much like the USA, and the EU. Why not? @johnvos I totally agree with you,but in doing so you can not deny the identity of each culture that comprises the unit, other wise it will not be for example Germany France and Britain.

I am an Armenian and will be the first to say that Teymur Mustafayev is one of the greatest singers who has ever lived. His voice always warms my heart. What a wonderful, wonderful artist.

@johnvos I am also Armenian and I listened to many recordings on this channel and this is the only music I heard so far that is really not Armenian but Azeri (Turkish). I agree with the previous comment and will ask that Azeri people don't still our culture and say its theirs. Because it is very different from Armenian and Georgian culture. By doing so you insult your own culture and history as Turkic people. One way you can tell if its Aremenian is by melody which does not have extended vibrato

@johnvos the videos that I found that are 1000% Armenian are"Azeri National Dance- Sari Gelin" "Nice Azeri Music and Caucasian Dance" "Qizlar - Azeri Music - Nazik eller" I am actually proud that Azeri people like it so much that they would like to make it their own(you actually add some Turkic style to playing it) but it still does not change the origin of the music and dance.
