I find this disturbing because the sign isn't complete, the song is just.. The words are going, and then some sign.

@ActualReality86 they are signing ASL, not Engligh words. There may be more words than signs in a given lyric, but the meaning is clear in ASL. The leader of this team was a Deaf woman who was very fussy about the signing.

I think it is good. Don't understand these commets. We are all different. I am deaf and I work with deaf kiddoes and have lots of deaf and hoh freinds. We are all different in signing. I use mix of both signs.

It's true that most of the kids in the "Real Kids" video are hearing. Several are children of Deaf adults (CODA) so with them, sign language was their first language. However, the kids and all the actors in our other YouTube videos are Deaf.

As for the sign language, our Deaf ASL coordinator created the sign for this. I know she tried to be creative and make it fun. It's supposed to be a retelling of 1 Corinthians 13. I'm sorry if it's hard to understand.

The Deaf woman who created the ASL translation on this song was born Deaf and learned ASL at a residential Deaf school. I know there are differences in signing from region to region.
