im a screen printer myself but when it comes to boards iron on transfers are so much easier like you said and dont hurt your pokets nearly as much if your doing huge volume....
@SKEEZIN08: I am a screen printer too.. I'm actually in the process of starting my own independant (out of my garage) skateboard company, and yes it is easier to do the heat transfer, but more cost effective to screen print considering that the inks are less costly than vinyl. The vinyl that you have to get for the printer/plotter is extremely expensive, so i'm thinking that If I have a multi color job...then yea I would like to do the heat transfer.. but that machine is $7000.00
@jesushchris69 yea screw that i wouldnt pay 7k for a screen unless id be making atleast or more of that regularly they make screens that are molded in the shape of a board so i guess printing might actually be a better option i retract my statement lol
hey i have a question how can i get the heat transfer sheets i got a skate shop its small but i want it to get better i watched your video and i wanna know how can i get the heat transfer sheets i´m in baja california
Hey - the dude heat pressing the transfer on - there are no guards on the freaking machine ! - You are at risk of ripping your dam hands off !!!! ( I have held a £££££ UK Power Press Regualtions certificate for industrial press machinery).
