    Because the lightsource does not move here, the illumination could be pre-calculated using a method called Stochastic Ray Radiosity, which can store beautiful caustics. Focal blur could then be calculated by the realtime raytracer. See the work of Alexander Wilkie on Stochastic Ray Radiosity (SRR)
