  • That is epic

  • Verry nice! Lol dying cross lol.

  • EASTER is NOT about Jesus! The "Passover" is about Jesus. Anywho GReAT cake! Awesome :D

  • @Nest1089 Thanks, but Easter IS about Jesus. At least it is in the Christian faith. It's the celebration of the resurrection of Christ, which makes it about Him.

  • @keekinonioi Ok. Well, when you study the facts and the FAITH behind everything you will learn otherwise.

  • @Nest1089 There's no reason to be so rude. Instead of being so vague and smug, you could actually give factual evidence that supports your theories. Go to the Easter article on Wikipedia. You don't get to the pagan etymology until way down in the article. Therefore the MAINSTREAM understood meaning of Easter is rooted in the Christian faith, but I'm not going to mince words with you anymore. Have a nice day.

  • @keekinonioi I wasn't being rude. You'd think that if they mentioned the Pagan traditions at all you would know that was the origin of Easter. I was just stating how it is, besides I complimented your cake. What made you think I was being rude? O.o

  • it looks like fondant

and what are you talking about?

    fondant is soooo good! :)

  • you're so talented in cake decorating! god bless.

  • very nice...I'm in culinary school and wanting to do cake decorating as my career:)

  • You're so incredible... that is truely a work of art...

  • Gosh, I wish I could make cakes like that!

    Or at all... lol.

  • hi. greetings from miami! wilton's fondant recipe tastes good too....just add your own flavoring. not the store bought one, the one in their books. good job!

  • i love your cakes and your sweater

  • your a good cake maker!

  • OMG I WANNA EAT IT

  • I think it looks great.. Every time I have a standup figure I put skewers so the gumpaste ot fondant is not touching as much the cake since the moisture from it tends to break it. I prefer tylose more than gumtex too. I am Wedding Cake designer and I teach Wilton courses..I just went through your videos. Your teacher should be proud of you. Excellent work. Keep it coming!

    God bless...

    Edna

  • Wow, that is beautiful! I love it! I love, Easter, because Jesus rose from the dead. Thank you Jesus!

  • awesome! when i need fondant things 2dry in a hurry I set a fan blowing room temperature air over them, tends to work pretty well. If its still kinda soft I'll paint a toothpick in the color of my item and use it to help support the figure on the cake, you usually can't see the supports and it works pretty well, especially if you keep the item away from the cake for absolutely as long as possible (buttercream adds moisture & slows the drying process)

  • you should try swiss fondant... it's more expensive but tastes great! Your cakes are beautiful!

  • WOW! Love it!!!! Did you make that design up yourself? Incredible!!!

  • You should be on ace of cakes. I love your cakes! I'm not a cake expert, however I have had luck with marshmellow fondant it taste a lot better then the shmudge wilton sells. You amaze my beginner-ness you do indeed.

  • Your cake looks terrific! Although Wilton fondant tastes like rancid kindergarten paste, most fondants are actually quite tasty. Try Satin Ice or FondX or Pettinice or ChocoPan -- they are all yummy (available via Internet).

  • Thank you! My teacher's told me that Satin Ice is better, but still had a funny after taste, but I'll be sure to look into the others!

  • You are too hard on yourself, it looks great.
