@webgrl I do it to remove the oxidation at the base of the bulb :-)

yes, paper ink works fine with cloth until you don't wash it!
Strange technic, the rubbing of the flashes ends on paper. What is the purpose of that, as I haven't read anything about. Am I missing out on something important? Please share! :)
