Among your roulette teams, I see three pairs in Xerxes' team:

Honchkrow-Staraptor (Birds in the Ringer contest)

Suicune-Swampert (Both are bulky waters)

Infernape-Zangoose (Chimchar had a fear of those)

Of course ult's team is more difficult to put in pairs. I see Gyarados-Feraligatr (water sweepers), but I do not see obvious pairs among Blissey, Gengar, Gardevoir, and Magnezone..perhaps Blissey-Gardevoir (high Sp Def) and Gengar-Magnezone (Explosion)?

@boredboy1993 Its a little shindig I made up a couple years ago.

Each player counts the number of pokemon to use in their boxes. Now that you've counted them, they each have a corresponding number to it. Both players pick 6 random numbers within that range. He uses the pokemon of the numbers I picked, and I use the numbers he picked---so your team is 100% random. First number you pick must be leadoff poke too.

Direct connections are always best...the closer to the source and stronger the link you have to ANYTHING is going to be better than a further-away destination.

But wireless works just fine for 95% of the people.

I did some calcs and it turns out a +3 Flail, even with only 80 Base Power, does more than a +3 Waterfall against 'Cune. So Flail was the right move (for the first time you used it; it was obviously the better choice when you got your HP down to 10%~).

The problem is that at the time I didn't know what Flails power was, I had forgotten anything after 10%. I know NOW that it was at 80, but I didn't know then. Plus Waterfall has a flinch chance.

Battle Recorder cuts out all time spent thinking, that's probably why it seemed to go so fast. (In case you didn't already figure that out.)

Yeah it was kind of obvious. And no lag makes the words go faster too, I noticed my DS is ever so slightly slower, and the words go just a hair slower than in-game with no lag.

So I couldn't get in much, and was moving quick. Not to mention I messed up twice and had to re-do the narration each time.

When you didnt waterfall the swampert, and used DD instead. Feraligtr almost always uses stat up moves weather it be SD or DD, so it would be obvious to roar him out.

secondly, forgetting that flails power is based off of % HP remaining, that's pretty common knowledge which you didnt remember at first. Then using ice punch on the 'raptor: Stab (1.5X) + torrent(1.5X) = 160 > 150. you said it in the narration, but did not do so while the battle was happening. 500 character limit is fail.

Its not that I forgot flail was based on %HP, I forgot the range of base power for it. I know that under 5% is 200, and under 10% is 100, but aside from that I don't know where it breaks.

So I didn't know how powerful that flail was, but I went with it anyway. In hindsight, waterfall was likely a smidge a stronger with a flinch chance, but I figured if I didn't live the hit, then it would show that by being 5 hp off from subbing would show that it could've gone either way.
