  • If I remember right they took the old MGM "Earthquake" bins out with them for subs - double 15's at over 4000 watts each - Fuckn Hostile even back then !

  • This song is awesome! god bless the good soul who filmed this!

  • They looked silly back in the day but a lot of bands looked like that. It's just fashion i guess. They rocked anyway

  • can anyone tell me the model of this guitar, i know that's dean but what model

  • aint it funny how the guitar hes playing is acually his dean from hell :)

  • big hair

  • i can't get enough this especially like fire! dime's solo's in verses! *.*

  • This era of Pantera would have dominated the 80s hair band days ! RIP King Dime !!

  • @angelcrusher420 that dude is Terry Glaze, who formed the band LORD TRACY after he left Pantera. His current band is 76, which is LORD TRACY without the drummer and original guitarist. 76 is Terry Glaze(Pantera), Kinley "Barney" Wolfe -Bass(Lord Tracy, The Cult), Taz Bentley - Drums(Burden Bros.,Izzy Stradlin, Rev. Horton Heat), Brian Harris- Guitars(Lord Tracy) .

  • DIME FOREVER!!! :))))

  • Ah, 1984, what a year...ahem... ;-) Reading through the comments, and maybe I missed it...but does anyone know WHERE this was recorded (the venue/city)?

  • my favourite bit is at 1.30 when rex comes over. his face cracks me up!

  • Thanks for posting this Webofhair!! Love the early PanterA and these 2 songs especially! Dime was always and will always be a legend and inspiration! RIP Dime

  • Wow. This is like the missing link between glam rock and real metal. If I get any power I'd make 8-20 and 12-8 both holidays and make even hospitals shutdown. Those who die as a result will just keep dime company.

  • best glam band ever

  • well really since they changed, their glam era was better than any glam band

  • emo sreamo is gay pantera led zeppelin metallica freaking zappa is good music

  • This is a sweet video. Pantera (early) is my ULTIMATE inspiration to keep drumming. I love them! \,,/ Too most of my peers don't listen to good music all they listen to is that emo screamo bullshit

  • i fucking hate that emo screamo bullshit

  • Not all of it is bad. I actually now like it better than this and the Phil ANselmo era better like 10 years later Far Beyond Driven

  • do u even know what emo screamo is??

there aint nothing wrong with old Pantera!

  • I like glam metal and screamo metal. They both rock! Especially Pantera.

  • Dime acts like Eddie Van Halen

  • He also reminds me of the bass player of Ratt. Juan Croucier.

  • Awesome solo on All Over Tonight!

  • I dont care what anybody says... this stuff totally blows away the Anselmo era stuff.

  • what if i said, my favorite album would be power metal, then cowboys from hell, then i am the night? in that order?

  • doesn't even sound like pnt. s singing.

is it even the same guy?

  • NO its not anselmo

  • I think the guy singin is theyr old singer 'Terry Glaze' he was ther 4 the first 3 albums,Phillip Anselmo came into Pantera for the album Power Metal the 1 before CFH and onwards

  • Sweet video!

  • dime was a great guitar player either playing hair or groove metal. RIP

  • a i did this solo and i covered cowboys from hell purdy good check my profile and u will find them

  • thats sick, they were in the beginning glam and then groove and heavy metal

  • el solo de all over tonight esta pasadisimo de corneta, pinche dimebag darrell era una tolongota desde que estaba morro!!!

  • awesome dimebagi upload the guitar solo of this show

  • Can anyone help me find or create the tabs for this solo? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

  • that song rock out is pretty good

  • What if Rex Vinnie and Terry get together and auditionate a good guitarrist (nobody can Dimbag I Know) and bring to life all the PanterA stuff (the 80´s and 90´s)? what would you say?

  • You cant be a true PanterA fan without aknowledging this. This is what PanterA did before, and they liked it. Its a shame they denied this stuff, Power Metal is my favorite album tied with CFH. Im a fan of both Glamtera and PanterA.

  • omg they were so much better here

  • this video made me become a fan of pantera

  • just wonder how things would have turned out if he had said yes to ozzy.

  • or megadeth!!

  • if pantera would've stayed glam and landed a record deal, they would've rocked the world. especially if they'd kept terry glaze.

  • Dimebag Eternal!

  • like fire is really awsome song, Fun song to rock out to

  • they were much better when they were heavy/glam metal!!!

  • Can we have this Pantera back please? I know Pantera is no longer and R.I.P. Dime Diamond but if they ever decided on making a comeback do it the right way. I heard something about Terry and the remaining band members being in talks about a possible reunion tour the other day.

To me 90's Pantera is just noise, plain and simple noise. It isn't really heavy to me either, this Pantera was way heavier on good music. 90's sounds more like shouting while vacuuming if you ask me.

  • man it wud have been cool if pantera became commercially successful at this point in time - the footage great quality considering the year

  • sick solo. the intro riff to the solo is kinda fucking cool... hair metal... lol... i really dont care what people have to say, it's still dime and its still metal... so fuck off

  • it's bizarre how they erased this from their profile. It's not even listed on their own website..too bad because this is the shit!

  • you could neverr fuck ith dime! he was allwyas a god!

  • i like the miami vice drums good stuff but its still hair stuff some of their post cowsboys stuff gets screamo and ugly at times but most of it is awesome but they are still heavy here they are kissish

  • wow cant you see both sides of pantera are absolutely amazing. i didnt realize they had this side it makes them truly one of the best metal bands ever.

  • FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK YEAH!

  • if these guys would have made it in 1985 they would have been the best glam metal band ever, DIME RULES.

  • dimes playing here is phyco

  • Oh man, I'm 19, so I never really experienced this kind of music (or atleast I can't remember it). I must say, I first started listening to Pantera's Cowboys From Hell songs, and liked it, then got all their later albums, loved them. But then, I got their 80's albums, And I would be lying if I said I like their later stuff more, THIS stuff is far better than their later songs.

  • R.I.P diamond "dimebag" Darrell Abbott.. you always have and always will be the best bro !!!

  • Glaze >> Anselmo and everybody knows it. The only guys that prefer Anselmo are the guys with long greasy hair and slipknot t-shirts. They were boring as fuck when they got so heavy, Dime's guitar sounding like shite being a fucking 90's nu metal band.

  • You can't fairly compare Glaze and Anselmo, their styles are too different, It's like saying who's a better fighter, a boxer or an old fashioned wrestler (before it just became a show), or like Ozzy and Dio.

  • of course you can compare them. I cant Not ompare them

  • 1). I said you can't FAIRLY compare them. 2). Their singing is simply TOO different. Terry Glaze, technically, was a better singer, simply because his vocal range dwarfed Anselmo's, but Anselmo's style didn't need to appeal to wide vocal ranges, his was about heaviness. That's why you can't compare them.

  • buddy guess what you just did? You compared them. See? it was easy!

  • But it's not a FAIR comparison. Like I said earlier, you can't FAIRLY compare them, different genres equals different style of music.

  • phil anselmo for president!

  • hell yeah

  • hehehe. you can tell dime got the idea of this solo from the ozzy tune over the mountain.

  • Holy i thought this was Motley Crue for a second

  • only point you made was that your still a makeup wairing hairspray buying glamrock clown. your glam trend is OVER.. dead and fucking gone. dimebag made a name for himself with thrash/metal era Pantera not this homo shit. im speaking strictly on this genre of music not this vid or this band. fuck the world!

  • If your interpreation of tough would be a bunch of ugly fat guys shouting on repetitive boring noise I don't want any part of it thank you. To me it sounds like that would be the definition of a homo band instead.

  • I wonder what Terry Lee thinks about Pantera's later albums. Cowboys from Hell, Vulgar Display etc

  • terry glaze lol.

  • i love this pantera, like ratt, others band of the 80s

    it's great

  • Sick video! Is the full video from which this is from still around?

  • These albums just get better with each listen it might be a bit hard at first but as soon as you hear that wailing guitar and all Dimes scales it just becomes a rockin' history lesson - Thanks awesome footage

  • Thanks for posting these! REAL Pantera! Phil is a piece of crap for destroying that stuff. But hey, its seems like most of the people who watch theses vidz prefer

    Terrence anyways. Cool.

  • yeah whatever phil didn't destroy anything and he's is a far better singer plus he helped to pantera into a hard edge metal band

  • Terry thinks the same thing the rest of us think:Phil is a piece of shit and Pantera lost their sound when Terry left and they went thrash. This is REAL Pantera. Not that shit with Phil. I saw this live. This is when playing guitar meant you played solos, not just the same chords over and over. Thanks, there are plenty of talentless bands now that Phil can go sing for and get that same crap sound from. I'd bet iloveredhotchilis is in his twenties; which just further proves my point.

  • phil is god he says it like it is and he doesn't sound or like a tranny (terry glaze)

  • How can you fricking say that Phil is the one that brought them on hard edge of metal its what actually made em sound like them!

  • Dont be retarded...any GOOD pantera fan knows that they kicked terry out because they(dime, vinnie, rex.) wanted a heavy thrashier sound so they found phil. so they pantera that everybody knows is the REAL pantera. this shit cant even crawl next to panteras songs with phil. although i do admit that i dont like phil or down or spirtual tribute a whole lot.

  • Exist any video from Metal Magic?? and that video of master of puppets cover, can I get this? where? thanks for Pantera music and the persons make possible see.

  • Terry has always been a great singer! I've always been a big fan of his. Thanks for sharing this!~

  • thats terry glaze you dumb asses... no phil

  • Thanks for sharing that with us, I enjoyed it. All of these old Pantera songs were great. Thanks man R.I.P Dime.

  • t lee is a good singer but i can see why they kicked him out

  • it truley is amazing that u found this video, phil had no right in destroying panteras past no matter how gay he thought it was.

  • Phil didn't have any copies of anything destroyed. If they were all destroyed, then why are we buying them off of Ebay and watching the videos on YouTube? The only thing anyone did was stop printing them.

  • Shawn where'd u get it I heard Phil made sure all copy's were destroyed! Video is awesome suprised to have found it

  • I just got ahold of that record called"Projects in the jungle"All of those songs kick ass, Like Fire is one of my alltime favorites from Pantera.AWSOME, thanks for putting it out for everyone to see.
