I dont get it they tell catholics to read our bibles when its they're bibles that are shortened 7 books from the original biblical canon? They say making images is wrong when the early christians had images(the Dura europos christian from from the 2nd century had images) they say ashes on the forehead is bad when it says in 1 Maccabees 3:47 about fasting and having ashes on the foreheads or even in Job 42:3-6 and Matthew 11:21 did these guys forget about these verses?

When did the early church as recorded in the book of Acts have a priesthood that offered up sacrifice (as in the Mass), where is it recorded in the book of Acts did Peter ever claim the title of Pope, or when did they offer prayers to the Virgin Mary?

@ministercreek I dont see catholic(universal) in Acts but where are the protestant churches in the book of acts? They wouldnt have asked for Mary's intercessions since she wasnt even dead yet use common sense buddy. Acts 2:42 talks about them offering the mass(breaking of the bread) the early christian document didache even shows the instructions of the early church way for it mirroring catholic.orthodox/anglican use. 1 Timothy 3:1-8 talks about the different ordinations
