In this video, this woman is gaining NO stretch..what she is getting or causing to occur is just an ECCENTRIC CONTRACTION of her hamstrings and adductors which...when she stands up..will go right back to where they were before the stretch..or TIGHTER! She also mistakingly says to hold each position for 15-20 secs...no, you cannot TIME a stretch...some people must wait more than a minute for the stretch to occur.
Expert village better stop it with these incorrect and damaging type videos from these so called "expert" who don't know what in the hell they are talking about. The hamstrings canNOT be stretched in ANY standing position..it can be very damaging as the muscles get no chance to relax into sliding elongation and gain a new current resting length. All that she is doing here is causing possibly thousands of microtears(permanent!) that won't be felt till years later when it is too late..damage done.
