@jawangnese Diesel engines are very quiet so they are pretty hard to hear. You will have to turn the volume up to max or listen the sound through headsets to hear the engine. The Diesels are pretty awesome though through their amazing efficiency and insane torque. An enviornment saver :).

Note the 360 and Forza stickers... As great as Forza is, how did it end up in GT4 and not in Forza/2? GT4 even has the old unchicaned version (which is quite acessible since the chicanes aren't even permanent).

I imagine the diesel engine in the R10 still retains its fuel efficiency, even in a race car, or not? I was surprised when I found out about Audi's diesel powered Le Mans racer. I don't pay attention to Le Man anymore....

The R8 was a V8 petrol the R10 is a V12 diesel it's alot bigger and I think simply put Audi said they did not have sufficient space

Puegeot 908 has 6 gears and has the same V12 diesel as the R10 and they had enough room to put a 6 gear.they both have the same length.I guess is because of the twin turbos inside the R10

That or maybe since Peugoet was second to build a diesel racer they found out some things that may not have been necesary or could have been made smaller to save some space. Audi, being the pioneer did not know that at the time. Like most technologies we should all hope that the second version is improved upon from the first. As we are seeing because the Peugoets are faster than the Audis this year.... so far

The Peugoet has more torque than the Audi does (1200Nm)..... it's not the power it's the penalty Audi is paying for being the first to develope the technology. Second always makes improves on it.
