I absolutely love Windsor Great Park. I used to live near there and took the kids bike riding all the time. It's a lovely walk connecting with Virginia Water too.
LOL great video ! wow look at the area--it's SO beautiful--love how you mixed the slo motion and then made it go faster ! comical looking--but the vid is so well done and it's just gorgeous there !
@NewOrleansWoman Thanks Shelley, great to hear from you. You wouldn't believe it, but the Queen herself drove up that drive on the way to Church while I was walking right up it.
@johnwood57 Thanks John, yes I drove through Old Windsor on the way home. I tried to get to Virginia Water but the traffic was crazy. I am banned from drinking by the boss.
From what I have gleaned from google the best time for Azaleas is April, they are past their best by mid May, so a late spring journey or you my boy lol, although they flower for most of the summer, and some species flower in early Autumn, Fantastic video of Windsor, you made me feel quite homesick,I lived in West London for 20 odd years, I used to love a day out at Windsor , I have been there so many many times, but Virginia waters, there is nothing in the world to beat what I saw that day.
That was my first video of the day it can only go downhill from here.Gary Find out from some gardening centre the peak time for Rhodedandrums & Azaleas,I know it's not Autumn its around whimbledon time, please go & film that for me even if you have to park on the Royal state coach, where I was parked was in a lay by & I just cut through the hedges lol,(wrong but fun) as I recall it was absolutely miles from Wndsor castle, there I found heaven, to this day haven't seen anything more beautiful
@beachfrontal Ah you must be thinking about Saville Garden. It was completely full yesterday and they charge £6 for parking. I should have got there early.
BTW, while I was walking up the Royal Ride, I had to make way for a LD Freelander to get past, and Oh my God, The Queen herself was in the passenger seat. I kid you not!
Keep donig in such a way!

A masterful piece of work Gary, full of stunning Autumnal images, and peppered throughout with humour ...loved every moment of that...Bob

@robmasterman It was such a lovely day, and I'd never walked to the statue, the secret is that I forgot to set the mic, so I actually had no sound!
