I would have to agree with LesterPaul.... it is the same notes, but the pitch is off... to me it sounds like you are a half step down....the ring isn't there....but still you play very well, just to my ear on this song it's not quite right....but your Aldo Nova (which found me here) is superb...way better than others posted
Oh! Ok. Wow, so Phil's influence was mostly on later albums, then. So, we hear mostly Steamin' Steve on this album, then? He must have double tracked some of those...they sound so FULL!
@85Hernan9 Except this ain't a Floyd, it's a Gibson-branded Kahler 2200, which is what Steve played. Neither Steve nor Phil Collen have played Floyded guitars while Steve was alive. Phil had an endorsement deal with Kahler, and Steve just seemed to love them a lot!
How do you do it? Time and time again!! Must feel so good to be able to cop leads so well...and you can see/feel the original guitarist's idiosyncracies! Do you know which Def Leppard guitarist is responsible for this song? Was it Collen or Clark?
@GVal Clark, as Phil didn't join the band towards the end of the "Pyromania" session and only contributed solos and leads. All the writing was done by that time.
@GVal I watched an interview of phil talking about how this album was the first that he started to record with def leppard. So I would venture out to say that it is phil. You could always do a search. :)

I've got a question: When playing Photograph, is it tuned to an E flat or standard tuning?

Sounds great man. Are you playing it in standard tuning? I think they drop down a half step. I would rather learn it in standard pitch.

@GVal Actually I don't know which one it was. I would guess Phil's though. Sounds more like his stuff. Thanks again for checking it out.
