  • hey i was wondering what are the controls to take out vertices

  • @carmine204 Just select the vertices a number of different ways in 'Edit' mode, then hit 'X' , then select 'Vertices' from that menu and BOOM!, they are gone. Went to Vertex heaven.

  • thank you for this fame

  • This helped so much the tutorials on their website seemed to be from an old version and wanted to use vertex groups,

    Thanks dude!

  • Thanks, but you sound like Microsoft Sam :P

  • Thank you!

  • @RVKrisss You're welcome.

  • Thank you :) I got really pissed when blender assigned the collors to the whole object, but now I get it :)

  • @TheHidhid Glad it helped.

  • @GaryFishFX ...you traded 3DS Max for Blender....? Oh 5* btw

  • I recently made my first video tut and I was surprised how difficult it is, so sorry for the comment. I sound so much worse than you.

  • @bnewton81 lol, no prob. It is not easy, does require prep, and coffee. I have new admiration for my favorite tutorialists.

  • Thanks soooo much, Mike

I love Blender but materials are still foreign to me. I came from 3ds Max and Blender is very different, but I'm loving it. This is just what I needed to add windows to my truck.

  • Is there a sample brush in 2.5, like in 2.49 where you can pull a color from a background image?

  • Wow, it actually works!, tested on Blender 2.55 Beta by the way.

  • Thanks a lot man!

  • Dude, drink some coffee or something! You sound like you are about to go into a coma. =) very helpful tut though. Thank You.

  • @bnewton81 True. One plays with the hand they are dealt. Thanks for the feed back.

  • Dude, drink some coffee or something! You sound like you are about to go into a coma.

  • @wisheshewassuperman wow, thanks!

  • Thanks man! Very very helpful tutorial.

So...to put different textures? This woks too?

  • @aphexGIBA Textures work differently. I'll try to make a tut on that.

  • Thanks for this tutorial :-)

It worked for me when I try to give a piece of a plane an image instead of a color it doesn't work.

  • Thanks this has been buggin me for a while ++

  • @walsh259 You're welcome. Bugged me too.

  • THE best tutorial iv ben 2 (iv seen ALOT) u actually xplain things very clearly as u go along, and the HD is even better, so i can actually see wat ur cliking on... looking 4ward 2 seeing more

  • Excellent Tutorial! I never would have thought of this!

  • Thank you.

  • Very usefull to know! Thanks!

But, huh, btw: this is the Savoy flag... not the swiss one (the added green is an extra color, of course) ;D

  • Actually we are both wrong. I was doing it from memory. Savoy is red with white stripes. This flag is really a racing flag meaning "Safety vehicle on track". lol

Swiss is small white cross surrounded by red.

  • lol Right... I was reacting from memory too... though Savoy is my neibour! ;)
