Actually if you listen, Packer said it WASN'T a foul. He actually thought it was a clean pick for once. I think it was a foul but that's neither here nor there. I am a huge Carolina fan and I had to give Hurley props for that one. That's what ACC basketball is about though

@tpis469 Last i can remember, he was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in the 2nd round of the 1993 draft.......don't think he ever made it out of camp, though.

I remember seeing him in a few preseason games...he disappeared after that

I will post a game soon where Hurley schooled Childress so bad that he was benched, and then Hurley schooled his replacement so bad, he was benched for the third string guy...This was the game the next year after Wake beat Duke when Hurley was out with a broken foot. He just tore up Wake in the next game.

Actually, to be technical, it was probably a foul on Hurley. Malcom position was completely set, he's allowed to maintain that spot, Hurley's actually the guy who initiated the contact. Of course, in the real world, the refs never actually call it that way regardless of what the rules actually say.

Sounds like to me, most of you took some so called lessons in whining... Whats it been 16 years since Hurley led his boys to TWO championships and you're all still complaining that a white guard could kick ass in college hoops. Without Hurley, Duke was an average team. It wasn't a dirty play on Mackey's part, but someone on Duke's team should have called that pick. It wasn't the only time Hurley ran into a break wall like that. He was tough as nails though and he has the championships as proof.

Why is it that people love Duke so much? How much does a crooked ref cost Coach K? Year in and year out, I watch my out recruited Yellow Jackets play a top 10 Blue Devil team and three crooked zebras. Do the referees ever get suspended for handing games to G Tech, or any other team for that matter? Absolutely not. Coach K is a great coach, but he needs a friggin warm bottle of milk to go with his waaaah burger and french cries. Let em play.

Rediculous, Typical Duke. He got blindsided on a clean screen, of course he is going to hit the floor hard,doesn't mean there was a foul. He would have probably flopped anyway if he seen it coming because K teaches them to flop like crazy to get some fouls called.

Billy is just trying to balance out the coverage of Duke. The lovefest that ESPN and ABC have for the Coack K borders on creepy at times. However, with that said, I don't have a problem with Dickie V. He receives a lot of shit for his supposed chillism but he is the type of guy that spreads out the love for all winning teams. Duke wins, so they get lots of one eyed, eye socket love.
