@optimistsRUS yes..lolzzz isnt that amazing ? ofcourse there is a three years gap. now the land sliding happened at Paras from last 20 days, we went back to kawai and next day after breakfast we found this singer at the restaurant :-) we have not had the video camera....gash that would have been an very interesting response to your video bro:)
True, that would have been interesting to say the least :) I think he probably visits the valley every year, my video is from August 2006 so that's 4 years ago, time flies!
@optimistsRUS ah alright...we go to north west Pakistan every year...and now we are looking forward to establish a hiking and adventure trip organization for adventure lover from all over the world, so to get their trips organized with us.... exhibition of our pics from our last trip was really appreciated in London... which gives us to think why not to properly arrange trips ? and yes to invest the profit earned from it back to the local community...
@optimistsRUS yes Indeed it was a wonderful trip despite the fact that a local guy trying to cross the sliding just minutes behind us was caught by a falling piece of rock and died ! on our way back we choose to use the "dolli". just to be a bit safer o,0
Very true. Through ads, movies, TV and the internet the media bombards us with the message that if we want to be happy we should buy this or buy that; that spending will make us happy, make us "cool", otherwise we are losers.
@optimistsRUS I've known only a few Persian people, but the ones I've known seem very kindly and open minded. Also, these people are having so much fun just enjoying each others' company. That's one of the reasons I left the United States. Our culture has mostly lost that sense of tight-knit community that kept people happy, moral, and feeling secure. Sad to say, though, I've seen the same thing happening all over the world now.
True, that culture is disappearing. This video is from Pakistan and the singer is a Pathan. The song is in Urdu, the national language of Pakistan, which borrows a lot from Persian (along with Turkish and Arabic), but Pushto, the language of Pathans is even more close to the Persian language. The people of Pakistan are probably a mix of a bunch of ethnicities including the local ex-Hindus, ex-Buddhists, ex-Sikhs, and the Persian, Turkic, Arab and perhaps Greek and Macedonian people
@optimistsRUS Sons of Madai. I'm from the line of Gomer, I think. We have the same ancestor. Anyway, I recognized that as Urdu later because I've seen this song in some Pakistani videos, but I wasn't sure until you told me. I only know a few words of Dari, but enough to know that Persian words are present in nearly every language around the world.
yar apkay ye sub video muje bohat kuch guzra howa yad dilatay hain..main ne bi in places pe apnay kissi pyaray kay sath tour kia tha.. Naseer from Texas.
welll some troubles are really good, like you were delayed for about 10 hours but you still managed to enjoy... that's really great, i hope rest of the trip was fine.
Fantastic. These guys are singing this beautifull song in the street without proper instruments. Our society do not need guns. We need this spirit. Peace and love for all. Long live Pakistan. Thank you very much you guys from Khagan valley
Bilkul jinab, yeh video jitni baar dekhta hoon phir wohi yaadein taaza ho jaati hain :) I haven't been able to visit the Northern Pakistan in two years now...
I don't know about that, but I think that was just Bull**** to give Taliban a bad name, there may have been some incidents but in the recent months the Army has been fighting a group of Pakistani Taliban in Swat valley which is not too far from Kaghan Vally :( I'm not sure whether the route to Kaghan is affected or not.
salam! janab e izzat maab o muhtaram aziz bhaii, I hope you and all your company will be safe and sound and will be enoying the days of life.I tried many times calling you but unfortunatly couldn't able to trase you,on eid your brother answered my call but i think he did not inform you. any how wish you all the best in life, and convey my salam to all the friends.take care and keep on rocking the world............. (your friend from dubai) i dont like to mention my name here........
hy friends i am the singer u were seeing above, i realy miss all of u. i am here in peshawar and u can call me any time except sunday at this no 091-2580297- 03339219151. with thanks from Aziz Sheikh
How are you and how is Peshawar? This street performance was the most memorable part of the trip! Thanks for the sweat music and the sweat tea! It's amazing to find you online, I'll give you a call Insha Allah later today.
I'd love to but I don't have any contact with him. He was a random "humsafar" (fellow traveler) who was stuck at the same time as our group was, I think I got his card that had his work phone number (they worked in a printing press in Peshawar) but I'm not sure if and where I could find it now coz I moved later that year.
The reward was just for fun, he didn't actually take that money in the end. This was probably the most interesting of the videos (it was on Abeer's camera), my camera made huge uncompressed videos so I didn't make any videos. There are another couple of videos, one with a Pushto song, I'll try to upload that.
20 Rupeeeeeeeee Nice Moment.. i wish i was there ;)
