  • Very nice job better than mine in 1985 with heavy wire hot glue.

  • Wouldn't it be easier to just use them printer to print them spiral patern then iron them spiral patern onto them circuit board then chemically etch them circuit board with acid. This method would been way easier then winding them coils by hand. Them printer and them acid would been do all the work for you. Which way budda.

  • Brilliant, just what i needed. Thanks so much for making the vid

  • neat

  • can you give specs in how to build it. It is super job

  • @2DAREPUBLICAMEXICANA For ideas, watch my video number 10.

As you can see I now use a better double stick tape, I added a better winding base, a motor, and made the arm move in a linear motion as the coil wire grew to a larger diameter during winding. I have made more mods since.

If genuinely interested, let me know and I will make another video showing what the winder looks like today with measurements and at least a verbal description of the specs.

  • i want it

  • You, sir, are a master among Tinkerers. Bravo, Sub.

  • Your automatic winder is just too freaking COOL! The fact you can wind them in series and stack them opens up some interesting experiments. Excellent idea.

  • You're the King of Pancake Coils hydro4f3a

    Excellent design ideas.

    Thanks for sharing

  • Luc,

If that is so, I am happy to appoint you as Director of Resonant Affairs. ; )
