This and Freespace 2 are the greatest Space games ever made, with Freelancer 2 and X3 coming in close second.

Now if you want complicated, youl need a degree to get your head around X3...

i own (and love) all of those games, except X3 which has eluded me because it got boring reviews. good thing i have that degree. so i guess i'm half-way to knowing something about space sims? aye, and lazy 3rd party fan-mods.

im running hd2600 512 xt turbo 2gb ram and overclocked 2.77 ghz p4 springdale, and im stil lagging, i dont think i should be tho lol

hmm, your right you shouldnt be lagging at-all.

dispite personally i would update that system, you shouldnt be having any issues.

that said, iv seen an 8600 struggle to run this mod. but base hw2 should be fine.

you have good fps, what program/ computer setup do you use, i also make videos, but hw2 is my unicorn, i can never get a pc to run this game well :S

when this was recorded, i think it was a Nvidia 8800GT on an AMD Phenom 9750.

now its a HD4870x2 on a AMD Phenom II 940 BE

both had 1066mhz 4gb of ram.
