Love when bands like these jerkoffs write anti-corporation songs when they sure as shit weren't going to release records independently...because then they would have made no money themselves. And yet the brain-dead left wingers eat this hypocrisy like Pez.
@GForceRush That's funny. Brain Dead? What was the biggest insult the Republinazis tried hurling in the last election. "Bleeding Heart Bookworms". They made fun of us for being so smart and now we're brain dead? THERE is your hypocrisy. The party that hates gays, yet tried to decriminalize incest and makes fun of people for being too smart and caring too much now wants to call people Brain-dead. Keep fucking your sisters and burning crosses you godless monsters. Leave politics to the mammals.
@GForceRush The Professors at M.I.T. must be braindead too. Since a study/survey of 53 million Americans showed that People who vote Democrat posses both, and I quote, "Higher cognitive reasoning skills, and on average test about 15 points higher in IQ than the average conservative voter". This based on logic tests handed out to various institutions. I guess the saying is true, There's enough extra chromosomes in a room full of conservatives to create 10 extra people. Filthy, hateful, mutants.
Great song about the profits over people Dicktards that took power in 1980 and went about handing our democracy over to the corporations while destroying the middle class. Repuppetcan economic fanatiscism = Ignoreland!
@3MoonTzu You got that right! As a former Republican I was happy when Reagan got in. Some of the things he did were good, but that reptile Bush was really running the show. Since that era, corporate/police control over our lives is complete.
Awesome...such a powerful song live!

@GForceRush Are you serious? R.E.M. spent ten years signed to an independent label.

I love it. You can hear the anger. This would be played at a real Tea Party.

I saw them at Jones Beach in '08.
Ignoreland was the highlight of the show, IMO. REM's best fucking song. Incredible.

This song could have fit in easily on document or green because the lyrics sound quite political?

I was at the show. I gotta say out of the six shows I went to it was last at my list. The band were steller, But the crowd just around me sucked.
But anyway I was so happy they kept playing that song last year. IT's one year ago tonight.
