Ok, so im considering this. but i have a few questions:

1. Is it a program you have to start after each boot or will it work like a theme?

2. How wil it affect my battery life during school?

3. How wil it affect my preformance during gaming?

4. How will the laptop version work on my 13.3 screen with 1366x768 resolution? (diddent find that resolution in your requirements)

5. does it adapt when i connect my laptop to bigger screens like a 42" tv?

@SirButtfuck 1) Is a theme for DesktopX that have "Run when Windows start" option.

2) SInce there are not animated icons running continually the system have not need any resources when the mouse is not over the objects. So not power consume.

3) You can download Desktopx for free and see if your performance fall. If you have 1 Gb Ram on a Intel Celeron processor or AMD single core... so I will tell "NO BUDDY... this is not for you". However in these times we have more hardware powerful systems (Dual, Quad cores with4 or 6 Gb RAM) running the same boring system.. Windows. LOL

4) In that resolution will work perfect. You can just install a 1024x768 and move the icons as you wish.

5) I guess so.. I never tried that.

@FiR3B4T These themes doesn't consume to much resources. The only moment where it works is when you mouse over or run any object. There are not any continuous animation that could require the processor works. But anyway if you have a low profile PC I don't recommend these program (Desktopx).
