  • I understand that this dance has two names. Apart from my video clip I can find no other example of this dance on the web under either name. Show me the evidence and I may change the entry.

  • On youtube search under "Thraki Dance - Baidouska" and the dances you see are the more traditional version of Baidouska.

    As for the dance on the video it is trampanisto. My dance troupe performed this a couple of years ago at the Klironomia workshops in Canada, and we were told by one of the instructors from Greece that the version we danced, the same version on your clip, is a modern dance that started as an apokreatiko dance, so since then we no longer perform it.
