if people are wondering how he died he how a dissese that infected his glands to keep growing and growing big show had the same thing but because of tecongly we have today big shows growth problem was able to be fix some where in the 90's but andre didn't have anything to save him and his heart over grew and killed him rip big man

@MegaSteelflexable he died because his body was so big that his heart could no longer pump blood throughout his body. He was in chronic pain thoughout his life, particularly towards the end of it

That photo at 0:43 is so sad and profound; an aged and depleted Andre on his ATV which was effectively his wheel chair. The giant shows the ravages of his disease coupled with a lifetime of over indulgences. The once mighty body that facilitated his incredible fame, now an infirmed tomb of aching muscles, inflamed joints and failing organs. Andre gave everything for our entertainment. I will always remember you Andre and you will live in my heart forever.

@Loafer3211 According to most sources, the reason Andre indulged so much was because he was told that would probably not live past his 40th birthday. He was just trying to get a full life in, knowing he only had half the time to do it in.

@TBirdSCIL So you see how Savage showed up for the funeral yet Hogan's the one you call out? I was always a bigger Macho Man fan than that of Hulk's, but at least Hogan wore a suit and tie for the occasion. I don't have a problem with the way either guy is dressed to be honest, but of the two... yeah.
Also, Savage is wearing a bandanna too. Just saying.

@aaronrus his friend Frenchy Bernard has been living there ever since Andre passed away. the ranch is on highway 73 a few miles outside of Ellerbe, NC and i see Frenchy from time to time in Rockingham, NC. I never saw Andre in person though.
