For years I tried to get people to watch this show, to me it is like prozac...I cant watch without the end result being laughter...the secret to happiness is watching a show like this that makes you almost pee your pants from laughing....I'm 45 so I'll probably be peeing my pants soon anyway so why the hell not...this is probably the best show ever..when they went on the Roseanne show I was in heaven!

They were going to do a US version with an American cast. Personally, I don't think it would have worked, as Jennifer and Joanna were so iconic as Eddie and Patsy.

@NandoMasch They did it for a while with Jean Smart from 'Desinging Women', but of course it didn't work. There's no way they'd allow the kind of stuff that Adina and Pats get up to on American tv!  It just couldn't go far enough so it was pretty much dead in the water before it even started.

Jennifer i feel is a brilliant comedy writer and performer. I've loved watching them make me laugh from her and Dawns career together starting from early on in the 80's with 'Girl's on top'

I don't hold her in such high regard anymore not since i saw a photo of her on a horse with her daughter as well about to set off to go fox hunting on Boxing Day Hunt.. But she'll always be a funny lady.

@smokie33 I agree with you, Jennifer Saunders is a talented and versatile lady, but has gone RIGHT down in my admiration ever since I found out her views on fox hunting. Fair enough it's her way of life and she's entitled to it, but it's such a shame that despite her obvious intelligence she's been sucked in with this bad crowd. It's reallly not cool!
