  • Datablast! Press record now!

  • '92 was the year that not only childrens TV went into decline but TV in general. The middle-aged men who knew what they were doing gave way to young 'trendy' types. They wouldn't know good TV if it hit them square in the face.

  • Agreed. And it's been more or less downhill (with a few exceptions!) ever since '92. I noticed on C4 the other day that they have a elephant autopsy programme masquerading as "natural history", not for me methinks. I'm getting rid of my TV and it's licence and just watching DVD boxsets of classic telly and adverts on a monitor now...

  • @millingpebbles i agree tv looks like its on the way out all we need and screen and a computer

  • seems a bit sad at the end... and all 41 days before i was born.

  • This is from 1990

  • The IBA would never have allowed Oracle to closed

  • I know that, but in the end the decision had been made by the IBA's eventual successor, the Independent Television Commission, when the re-allocation of the ITV and Channel 4 teletext licence was awarded to Teletext UK Limited in 1992.

  • Can you make them any quicker?
