  • 3:23 -3:41 gives me goosebums !!

    LOVE IT !!

  • I used to play this song, until i took a bullet to the parents

  • 225 asshole detected.

  • Is possible improve this interpretation of the most beautyful classical music partiture that ever has existed?

  • Beautiful hand movements. So accurate and graceful. The dynamics of the intervals are beautifully expressed. Great!

  • Why would anyone dislike this video?? This is absolutely phenomenal!

  • D=!!

  • @bigblackmanswilly The Tempo marking is Presto Agitato where presto, which means quickly in Italian, in music is faster than allegro and is at least 180, if I'm not mistaken. I feel like the faster it's played, the more it fits the expression that Beethoven had built the song upon.

  • You don't want to wish to be able to play as Valentina does! That's not the point of music! You want to be able to play pieces that you want to play because you want to! I only care that people play because they get a thrill and not because you can play 16th note runs at 200 bpm... This is why I like Valentina's music!

  • Can't. Stop. Listening.

  • That's the most talented broom I've ever seen.

  • Each one of these notes beating my soul...

    ...

  • Do you believe in reincarnation?

  • Is that a new kind of stove? Weird kitchen.

  • wtf i cant even play chopsticks.

my fingers hurt by just looking at her play lol

  • великолепно

  • Amazing!!!!

  • I spent about 1 hour listening to different pianists on youtube and by far she is the best one! PERFECT PERFORMANCE! The queen of pianists!

  • Like Beethoven himself...?But I like this kind of making music. We never know how it sounds in those days ......

  • It's my dream to be able to play like this.

  • I wanna marry her <3

  • thank God i have ears ^o^

  • I don't like this piece being played this fast. It is supposed to be a rapid tempo but her interpretation sounds rushed to me. Saying that, I also think Kempff's rendition was a tad too slow. lol. Personally I think Murray Perahia has it right, or at least as far as tempo is concerned.

  • OMG !!! is what you are thinking right now

  • Your play at P&W tonight was incredible. Thanks for getting me back to the beginning of all the populair (or POP) music. I'm already a fan! Even if I make a real different kind of music myself, I admire your play and tallent!

  • Omg, the fucking faggot of justin bieber have more 30 millions views, and this one only have 2 millions.. how is this possible? the world is lost..

  • oh my gosh. :O

  • kind of creepy but I like it (:

  • Lucius Malfoy plays the piano!?

  • you are a genius!!! excellent stuff. I admire you and hope become as awesome as you someday :)

  • A little bit too fast but very Awesome !

  • what a gay..oh girl..awesome

  • @THESIS100 A she, and she has some great talent :P

  • @THESIS100

    Are you an idiot?

  • @Th4w But Why?????

    Please say!

  • @THESIS100 This is a woman. Alexi Laiho doesn't play the piano.

  • @THESIS100 That's what my grandma asked

  • @THESIS100 Vagenis.

  • @THESIS100 your just jealous that shes a prodigy and your not..

  • i'm soooo bad pianist...:(

  • I am in love...

  • damn she can go... but she played the first few stanzas a lil to fast to me.... but this is awesome

  • She is incredible!

  • una red bull y estoy escuchando esta wea, como para aumentar mi concentración y me encuentro como desesperáh escribiendo jajaja

  • oh, i already 'Like'd this...such talent.

  • @Shadows649 223 dislikes really?

  • Effortless rendition and more so without any visual cues, one of the best recordings on this piece Ive heard. What a master musician, inspiring!

  • :O... I don't know what to say.

  • Valentina,

You are at your best at virtouoso. You even convince me in wit / spirit. You got it babe!

    This is your thing.

  • nekem nagyon tetszik

  • Amazing! What a talent!

  • Did she jazz it up, or is this actually part of the song? I've never heard it like this before.

  • @AleifrLeifrson it's the 3rd movement and played exactly as written. Maybe you're after the 1st movement.

  • @AleifrLeifrson This is the third movement of the sonata, you are most likely thinking of the first movement which has similar themes but is much slower.

  • @AleifrLeifrson First of all, it isn't a song. A song is music with singing. And this is just a different part of the composition; the third movement, to be exact.

  • i'm glad she's not asian

  • Φανταστική!!!

  • Best interpretation I've ever heard

  • I love you!!!!!!!!! <3

  • I love it when she's just hammering those keys!!! :)

  • Fake. At 1:39 her hair changes from being down to being tucked behind her ear and then at 1:50 it's back to normal. Still impressive, but a little sad because this proves that it all wasn't done in one run.

  • @Oryix it's likely because they had just one or two video cameras and needed to record more than once to have more angles to cut between. Excusable as standard filmographic technique.

  • @Oryix It probably fell out from her ear, considering how vigorous her playing is.

  • the best performance I've heard of this song...

  • slow clap ...

  • very nice (borat's voice)

  • I'm working so hard on this piece!

  • I'll have to grow my hair longer, and see if it helps me play like that!

    Fat chance!!

  • @DownhillAllTheWay I have much longer hair than she and I am still playing stupidly Mozart's a la Turca :o))

  • Un-real - It's like watching Savion Glover Tap.. brilliant.

  • magic fingers..

  • stunning !

  • Здорово, черт возьми!

  • My favorite! And I'm learning this piece! :D

  • 219 people are completly jelous of you talent when your a insperational artist who takes piano to the next level, you great at piano and i wish you the best of luck your amazing and dont let those 2219 jerks get to you :)

  • @cameonandboas7 219 lol

  • I am in love... :P :D

  • Simply.. Wonderful!

  • Genius music and excellent performance. I like how she pulls back her hands played the last chord. So expressive.

I apologize for my english, it's not my mother tongue.

  • and am even capable to make the wrong notes that fast.....

  • God bless you my dear ! thank you So much for sharing your gifted talent with all of us !

  • yeah thats my girl! xD

  • fuck man, that one looks pretty difficult to play lol

  • Beethoven would have been proud, incredibly hard song to play and you play it effortlessly. Great Job

  • I can play the right hand about... 2/3 the speed of this? XD I fail.

  • @dship98 lol thats awesome if you can, because shes playing it wayy too fast :P

i play this piece as well, and i can play the whole thing but just a little bit slower than her :)

  • Increible! Me hace sentir... lleno!

  • too fast...

  • @franotta Es asi xddddddddd

  • @franotta agree to fast

  • awsome...

  • My first thought: Why the hell is Olivia Dunham playing there O_o? xD

  • @ValentinaLisitsa Valentina, I know you may not get this or have the time to reply to this but I really wish you the best of luck at your concert in London. I wish I could go so badly but I don't have the money :( None the less please have your concert recorded because I want to see it so badly.

  • Chuck's wife called, she wants her hands and fingers back.

  • Great Performance. Love this.

  • This is perhaps the most amazing performance of this piece. I love this! Love you!

  • that made me in love with you... fucking magic...

  • they should show the dislikers who behind their cyber crimes ??

  • MAGIC FINGERS?

  • Cuanto medira cada 1 de sus dedos ? Ella es la hermana de Chuck norris xd

  • There shouldn't be a dislike button!

  • that dislike button ruins everything sweet. I will never look a it again..2012 !! hmmmm......

  • ....its hard to play the wrong notes...

  • 215 dislikes? I can understand 20 or 30 people who have nothing better to do than to go around disliking everything. But 215? What is it they don't like? Too fast? Too slow? Too staccato? Oh, now I know. They don't like her hair!

  • @goodchessactor i think it's her scarf :)

  • @goodchessactor they're mad because they know that they will never be able to play that good

  • and not a single one of them griping could probably play the piece......the few that possibly could are simply haters. :-) she owned it. and damn her hair looks good too!

  • @goodchessactor The nose!!!!! The problem is the nose!!!!!! ;) she's awesome!!

  • @goodchessactor I am wondering the same thing!!! But if you can see the dislikes represent a minority.

  • @goodchessactor Very clean and passionate performing. Val's hair is beautiful. This is just simply jealousy.

  • @goodchessactor I think it is the fact that they have no tallent at all. I give credit where credit is due, anyone who can play a piece of music like this has talent.

  • @goodchessactor Perhaps they noticed she messed up a few times ?

    (Hit the the wrong key)

  • @labobo Not enough for a dislike. There are other videos of amateurs really playing bad, hitting wrong keys and and messing up the tempo and maybe a dislike is OK. But here we have a professional player on stage (elsewhere I read that this might even be a rehearsal) playing a difficult piece and I think it has to be considered holistically. If hitting a wrong key out of hundreds is enough for a dislike then every video of every player on You Tube would nothing but dislikes.

  • @goodchessactor As you say, this is a _professional_ player, they shouldn't make mistakes. That is what being a professional is all about, fine-tuned skill.

I'm a music lover and hearing music with mistakes like these are off putting.

Like the sound of fingernails scraping chalkboard.

Same as if a mobile phone would ring in the middle of it all.

  • @labobo Fingernails on a chalkboard? Mobile phones? Certainly you jest. Let's not exaggerate now.

  • Wow! Have fun in Haarlem and Delft this week!

  • На мой взгляд, одно из лучших исполнений quasi una fantasia

  • Ах, Лисица! Под маской женщины скрывается мужское начало.

  • @Renard8214

Скорее, мужское и женское здесь гармонично переплетены.

  • you would truly make me cry if I saw you play this!!!! If I were in front of you!

  • Comment removed

  • Who would dislike this? It is AMAZING! Bravo!

  • I don't think Beethoven could have done any better.

  • Best performance I've seen so far on Youtube.

Is this recording also available on some cd?

  • Beethoven would have been great at metal lol

  • @420Riffs I agree.

  • @420Riffs you are a fucking idiot

  • @420Riffs Beethoven IS metal my friend.

  • I love the way she plays without any sheet music in front of her.

Makes it sound so much more natural and free.

  • I wish there were more than just a like and dislike buttons for a video. For this video, I can only "Love it".

  • @Matt17ization i thought he was a she

  • i thought he was axl rose...

  • In my opinion there is only one good interpretation and it is the one from Solomon. Under his fingers it is real music, not just hammering away.

  • And she knows all of Beethoven's sonatas by memory!!! Amazing talent:) Bravo Valentina!!

  • @Huzzordxxinc Camille Saint-Saens too,when he was 10

  • what kind of piano is that?

  • you are pro!!!

  • Comment removed

  • 214 asians think she's to slow:)

  • Fantastic!!

  • @InfiniteSword @ThePoshMaster Shut the fuck up mediocres talking and supporting who doesn't really know about masterpieces, 0:09 to 0:18 the wrong waym because we are talking about a masterpiece, so far so near but not there...Girl Lisitsa/cheers

  • @erydiam Yes, you´re right. She played too slow at 0:09-0:18.

  • do not even compare with the master/ blast feelings through tears...

  • This video doesn't show the piano exploding after her performance. Guess we gotta see that live.

  • @BombedNevada if you are gonna see it live make sure you dont go to close or u'll get caught in the explosion.

  • She once gave a hand job. He died.

  • Just out of curiosity, Valentina, how much technically difficult you consider this piece to be? I ask this because I somehow can play it (obviously no way to compare my play to yours, which is vastly superior in every aspect...) and I would like to know if I can consider it as at least a moderate-hard difficult piece. I hope you'll answer me but, anyway, thanks for this MAGNIFICENT interpretation!

  • she looks mad

    (her fingers hurt)

  • @RandomnessProducts actually what hurts are the arm muscles... not fingers.

  • Fantastic!! She s really classy.

  • i love looking at her fingers while playing piano its so amazing!

  • her fingers.... they move so graciously.... can't stop staring

  • she`s look like lucius malfoy :D

  • @heeyhabibi she reminds me of sebastian bach from 80s

  • Splendid!

  • Blissful...

  • i thought this was a guy..at first...WOAH..

  • who knew clay matthews cud play piano?

  • Goddamn, look at those fingers! She was made to play piano.

  • i love you.

  • I have to see this played live.

  • I love her performance! Attacks the piano most definately! Her interpretation is superb!

  • i like wilheim kempff's version better

  • i fell happen when i hear this o email me the sheet music please

  • why dont peapole like this its amazing

  • Like a boss.

  • 213 dislikes what is wrong with you guys !!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Its a storm...........

  • Too quick... and not enough emotion.., it flows well which shows a lot of practice, but very robotic. It sounds like you are attacking the piano at times.

I hope you'll understand when I say that I just don't feel relaxed listening to it compared to Wilhelm Kempffs version.

  • @mucker3000 I actually feel this one more smooth and less agressive...
