I do not pay for cable TV because its full of adds. I block all adds as I do not take kindly to people trying to manipulate me.

I actually see adds as a thing that can and possibly will lead to the destruction of the human race. It may not but even then it degrades quality of life. There is adds everywhere and I am sick of it. You cant even go anywhere to escape adds.

Not to mention many adds are full of lies. People intentionally will lie about a product in adds.

Youtuber partners don't make that much, to begin with.

My computer is configured in such a way that I never see those ads. I don't have the longest attention span. I didn't know they were 30secs long.

@proteanview rofl. I havent seen a 30 sec one on your vids. There are some pre-rolls that are movie trailers; they're 30 secs and sometimes more.

Ever wondered why some of the most viral hits on the net are usually a few seconds long, That's the equivalent of a typical 30 sec advertisement, most people have a very short attention spam. That includes me.

Agreed, I don't allow those 30 sec ads on my videos at all, i just allow the basic popup advertisements, I've been to many videos and skipped them because of the advertisements.

I just came over from proteans video and his ad didn't bother me but the problem with ads is they start out small and they get more and more.

It's not your quality that is at fault, it's that that little ad is just the start just like it used to be that the cable people promised that pay TV wouldn't lessen the quality of broadcast TV.

and now they are starting in on our own user generated content as well as online material, oh and look up net neutrality sometime ....

@Curas1 The content person e.g. myself/proteanview, etc. decide what type of ads we'd like and not like on our content. I don't find proteanview's choice to be obtrusive but I have seen some pretty long movie trailers on some videos. Is it worth it? Sometimes it is.

yes we ARE the best! lol Personally I don't care if there are ads or not. I guess the ones who have problems with ads are just actually probably mad they aren't partner getting the lil bit of money from the ads...lol These people/partners especially the big namers....this is their job! They are spending money and their time to entertain us, why not sit through a few seconds of ads to repay them for that?! Some you can skip after a couple of seconds! Oh...and I love you too! lol
